Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Review

I have tried so many different liquid liners in my time and I think I have finally found my holy grail! Every time I wear makeup, almost every day apart from on Sunday's mainly, I wear winged liner and I have really put this one to the test. From the first time that I used this I knew instantly that I was going to love it and I was right! Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Review

The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper is different to any pen liquid eyeliner I have tried before in that it actually has a brush tip rather than a felt tip and I really do prefer this. This has an innovative superfine flexible brush tip to make the perfect wing effortless and precise in application. When I watched and read some reviews of this eyeliner, a few people said it took them a while to get used to the tip but I have found it so much easier to use and I always get the perfect wing with this one. This eyeliner is available currently in two shade options, Trooper which is the black and Mad Max Brown, the brown option.

The brush tip also is also non-fraying which I have noticed in the few weeks that I have been using it as it hasn't changed at all and still has a great pointed tip. This eyeliner has been formulated to be high-pigment while being waterproof and paraben-free. I have to agree massively with the high-pigment claim as it is one of the most pigmentated eyeliners that I have ever used, it is very black which I love, there is nothing worse than a grey/black eyeliner in my opinion. The packaging is lovely too with little illustrations in true Kat Von D style and I love the matte finish to the pen. The lid clicks shut so you don't have to worry about it drying out too quickly.

It glides onto the skin and applies the perfect amount, it is one of the best eyeliners and easiest ones I have ever used to create a winged line on my upper lash line and because it is so intensely pigmented, you don't have to go back over the lines that you have already done - one swipe and you are good to go! Once applied, it does not budge until you remove it, I can rub my eyes and not have to worry and I 100% agree with the waterproof claim too. I swatched this on my hand when I got my hands on it and washed my hands and it didn't even move! I love this element because my eyes water a lot which usually results in leaky eyeliner but I no longer have to worry. One thing I have heard about this eyeliner it can dry out quickly so if you aren't someone who wears liquid liner regularly, this might not be the one for you.
