I love trying out new makeup brush brands as I usually stick to the same brands and I like to switch it up every now and again. UBU is a brand that I have always seen across social media and now only just trying them out for the first time and I must say, I am extremely impressed! If you are looking to get some new makeup brushes, definitely check out UBU.
These three brushes and sponge are from the Face On Complexion Tool Kit from Urban Decay United. All four of the tools come complete in a recloseable pouch, I actually really like the packaging that they come in as it is very unique and different to any other brush brand that I have tried. What really caught my attention with this brand is the colour, who doesn't want gorgeous pink and rose gold brushes?! The Face On Set includes four tools, a flat rectangular sponge and three brushes. The three brushes included are Foundation Brush, Concealer Brush and Powder Brush and all three of the brushes are shorter than a standard makeup brush making them travel-friendly. Each of the brushes has pink brush hairs either completely pink or as an accent on the top of the brush with white handles and rose gold ferrels. One thing I really like about the brushes is that they have a flat bottom of the handle so that you can stand them up if you wanted too. All three of the brushes feel well made and I like that they have plastic handles rather than wooden as they are much lighter and more comfortable to hold while applying product.
I have been loving the foundation brush for applying face masks as it makes it much easier and a whole lot less messy! The concealer brush I have been using for applying concealer under the eyes and around the nose and anywhere that needs a little extra coverage. The powder brush is my favourite brush out of the set and I like to use this to apply blush, bronzer or face powder. All three of the brushes are incredibly soft, they have to be some of the softest brushes that I have in my collection. The sponge included is great for keeping in your handbag for touch-ups throughout the day too.
