Current Favourite Blushes

I love blushes and I seem to have a fair few in my collection from all price range and brands! All of these blushes are my current favourites and work so well on my lighter skin tone. If you are looking for a new blush to try whether you have £1 or £30, there is a blush in this post for you, some of these I have had for years and some are newer to my collection which I have been really enjoying.

Swatched: Makeup Revolution Hard Day, Essence 20 Babydoll, Laura Geller Rosewater, NARS Sin, Too Faced Justify My Love & Milani Love Potion.

From the high street, my go to everyday blush is the Makeup Revolution Baked Blush in Hard Day. This is what I always use if I don't know what blush will go with my eye shadow or lip colour because it is on the neutral side. It doesn't matter what brush you use to apply this blush as it will add a sheer wash of colour to the cheek but it is buildable. Another high street favourite are the Essence Blushes which are under £2.50 each making them such a steal! One of my all time favourites from the brand is the shade Babydoll. This is a gorgeous peachy shade with a hint of pink and I love how this looks on fair skin tones. Another high street price ranged blush is the Milani Powder Blush in 07 Love Potion. This is a gorgeous bright and vibrant pink and I love sheering this out on the cheeks to add some life back into the skin. This has to be one of the prettiest blushes too as it a flower.

A lot of my blushes are from higher end brands as I do like to invest in my makeup and I am not often disappointed by my purchases. One of the more recent products I purchased is the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette. I love all three of the shades in the palette but the blush is gorgeous and while they are on the lighter side when you apply them with a brush, they are buildable. If you are looking for a peachy blush, this is for you (it smells amazing too!). Another Too Faced favourite is the Love Flush Blush in Justify My Love which is a gorgeous cooler toned pink. Too Faced have some of the best packaging I have come across and this blush is housed in a Polly Pocket style heart compact. I also have two blushes from NARS in Sin and a Dual Intensity in Fervor which I have had for a couple of years now. These blushes have brilliant pigmentation and apply with ease. These are usually my go to blushes in the Winter as they are slightly darker shades. My final favourite blush at the moment is the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Blush in Rosewater. This is pretty bright blush to I like to only apply a little bit and sheer it out.

My favourite brushes to apply blushes are the So Eco Blush Brush, I love that these brushes have a comfort grip on the handle of the brush making them so easy to hold as well as the Blank Canvas F39 and any angled brush I have to hand. I really love the Blank Canvas brushes too as they are super soft and I just love the how pretty the metallic brushes are, who doesn't want metallic makeup brushes?!
