Favourite Bronzers for Lighter Skin Tones

Having such a light complexion means bronzer is a staple in my makeup bag and something I try not to often skip otherwise I get questioned five times a day if I am feeling okay? But bronzers can be pretty difficult to use on paler skin tones as many are too dark but these are my favourites of the moment, if you have a lighter skin tone, I would highly recommend all of these!

Swatched: Butter Bronzer, Milani Baked Bronzer in 04 Glow Bronzer, Sweet Peach Glow, Benefit Hoola and Fusion Beauty Luminous

The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer is something I had been trying to get my hands on for months and then I finally found it on iHerb with UK shipping, I got it within a few days shipped out from the US for around £4 which is amazing! If you aren't as impatient as I was, you can get this shipped for around £1.50 which is crazy cheap! The Butter Bronzer is available in two shades but I do have the darker out of the two and it is actually the perfect colour to me. This bronzer applies beautifully to the skin and while it is matte, it looks very natural on the skin and it also smells of coconuts. This retails for around £11 on iHerb - HERE.

For days when I have some fake tan on, I like to use either the Milani Baked Bronzer in 04 Glow or Benefit Hoola. While the Milani bronzer isn't too dark, it does have some shimmer in it so I like to use it with a very light hand, it works brilliantly as an eyeshadow too! This is such a soft bronzer and looks very glowy on the skin. Benefit Hoola is a bronzer that I can only really use in the summer unless I have on a lot of fake tan as it is the darkest out of all of my bronzers and can look a little too intense on my skin tone. Benefit do have a lighter version of Hoola coming soon which I am very excited about! This is a lovely bronzer as it never looks orange or muddy on the skin.

The next two bronzers are very glowy on the skin which I love as I am all for a glow without adding glitter to the day for day to day wear. The first is the bronzer from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette. I have been obsessed with this palette and the bronzer is my favourite shade from the palette. It does have warm undertones but I love how it looks on the skin. The Fusion Beauty Glow Fusion Bronzer in Luminous is a stunning bronzer that adds warmth to the skin with a glow and this bronzer never clings to any dry patches.

I like to use a large fluffy brush or a fan brush to apply my bronzer to the points of the face that the light would naturally hit. The Blank Canvas F39 is my favourite brush at the moment, I really love these brushes! Each of the bronzers lasts well on the skin too so you never have to worry about having to reapply throughout the day.
