Garnier PureActive Sensitive Anti-Blemish Skincare

I love trying out new skincare as I am always trying to improve my skin. One of my main skin issues is acne and discolouration and these three products sounded right up my street. Garnier is such an affordable brand and the micellar water is one of my all time favourite products so I had high hopes for these and over the past 28 days I have been putting them to the test!

The Garnier PureActive Sensitive Anti-Blemish Skincare range consists of three products to cleanse, tone and moisturise. This range is specifically for skin with blemishes but is designed with sensitive skin in mind which I love as many skin care products for blemishes and spots can be harsh on the skin. The three products in the range are the Soap-free Gel Wash, Clarifying Tonic and the Soothing Moisturiser. All three of the products are hypoallergenic and reduce the appearance of blemishes while keeping the skin feeling soft.

The Soap-Free Gel Wash has been my go-to morning cleanser and I love that it doesn't dry out the skin. This is to be applied to a wet face and rinsed off, making sure to avoid contact with eyes. This has really helped ensure that my skin is clean before applying any makeup. This has purifying zinc and witch hazel water to help intensely purify the skin and eliminate impurities while soothing and refreshing the skin. This does a great job and I have used it a few times as a second step cleanser in the evening and my skin is never left feeling tight or uncomfortable afterwards.

I then follow up with the Clarifying Tonic which is essentially a toner but is on slightly thicker side with a gel like consistency and has purifying salicylic acid extract and witch hazel extract. This is going to help tone the help while visibly tightening the look of pores without drying out the skin. I use this by applying a small amount to a cotton pad and swiping across the skin, focusing on the t-zone and areas with any excess sebum. Just like the cleanser, it doesn't dry out the skin but I do like that when I use this and the cleanser that after a few days I can notice a reduction in my spots.

To finish my skincare routine I follow up with the Soothing Moisturiser, this targets spots and marks while hydrating the skin for 24 hours and soothing the skin. This has purifying zinc and soothing witch hazel. This is a great base for makeup as it doesn't interfere with how my makeup applies and it keeps the skin mattified. Since I have been using all three of these products my skin has been clear for the first time in months! I do have slightly sensitive skin and I haven't had any irritations since using this, my skin is always left feeling comfortable and moisturised. Any of the acne that I had previously has disappeared thanks to these products! Usually, I find with my skin that when I get any breakouts that it will leave a mark behind on the skin but these three products prevented any discolouration!

  4. This sounds like my perfect range - I have dry, sensitive skin but sometimes I get a spotty chin which could be hormones but it's what I could do with right now
