La Roche Posay Sensitive Eyes Makeup Remover & Mascara

It's no secret how much I love La Roche Posay and it is one of the few brands that I trust when it comes to skincare. The Effaclar Duo+ and Serozinc are two of my all time favourite products and are such game changers when it comes to acne prone skin. These two new products from the brand haven't disappointed me and if you have sensitive eyes, you are going to want to try this new mascara! La Roche Posay Sensitive Eyes Makeup Remover & Mascara

Both of these products have been designed with sensitive eyes in mind, I do suffer some slightly sensitive eyes every now and again so I do like to use products specifically for sensitive eyes just in case. The Respectissime Eye Makeup Remover has a bi-phase formula which is going to instantaneously and effectively remove eye makeup without having to rub at eyes or causing any irritation. This has been made being free from fragrance and parabens and can even remove waterproof makeup. To use this product all you have to do is apply it to a cotton pad, after shaking the bottle well, I like to hold the cotton pad down onto the eyes before wiping away any makeup residue as I find this to be the most effective way.

I have found this to remove any type of product from mascaras, liners and eyeshadows and what I love about this is that I don't have to rub at all at the eyes and I have never experienced any discomfort or irritation. I find the Benefit mascaras can be a little bit difficult to remove but this makes it so easy! With some eye makeup removers, they can leave the skin feeling slightly oily around the eyes but this one doesn't do that, it just leaves the skin feeling slightly hydrated. As the skin around the eyes is four times thinner than the rest of the body, it is extra important to take care of the skin and I have found this to be a great product to keep the eyes free from irritation. My skin can be slightly reactive to some products and I have had no issues. If you have sensitive eyes, this eye makeup remover is fab, I have even used it remove liquid lipstick in a hurry and it does an amazing job!

Another new launch from the brand is mascara. They have released three different mascaras, the Respectissime Volume, Respectissime Multi-Dimensions as well as the Respectissime Waterproof. I have been using the Respectissime Volume Mascara for a couple of weeks and I have been really enjoying it. This mascara is going to thicken the lashes while leaving them feeling lightweight, it also adds great length and of course, volume. This mascara has a high-tolerance formula and is free from fragrance and parabens while being hypoallergenic and having purified pigments. I love that this does everything I could want in a mascara, it adds volume while thickening the lashes without making them look clumpy and makes them long. But one of my favourite things is that my lashes never feel heavy or left feeling crispy. It is very easy to remove and is gone in seconds with the Respectissime Eye Makeup Remover. I find with many mascaras that they can leave black lines on the lids and under the brows but this mascara doesn't do this which I am happy about as it is the first mascara I have used in a while that it doesn't.

Both La Roche Posay products along with the other two mascaras are available - HERE.

  1. That's one of the things that has always annoyed me about eye make-up remover products like this, that awful oily/greasy feeling they leave behind afterwards. Discovering cleansing oils was was amazing for me because they remove eye make-up really easily but I can wash all the oiliness away afterwards. This La Roche-Posay one sounds great though x
