White & Nude Nails

I used to always love bright and bold nails but recently all I have worn on my nails is nude and white and I am loving the change! I don't think I will be going back to bright nails anytime soon so I will have to get a few more nude shades to add to this selection. These are my top picks for white and nude nails and there is something for every price range. White & Nude Nails

Swatched: Jessica Simply Sexy, Burberry Nude Pink, Essie Spin the Bottle, Formula X Dainty, Barry M Skinny Dip, Essie Private Weekend, KIKO Silky Rose Nude, Barry M Cream Soda & Barry M Pink Lemonade.

When it comes to nail polishes, I am fussy as I like polishes have that a glossy finish so that I don't need to use a top coat and all but one of these is glossy but I do like the one that has a matte finish every now and again. All of these nail polishes have great formulas in that they all dry pretty quickly once applied and they don't chip too easily. I am very heavy handed so finding a nail polish that doesn't chip after a day can be hard to come across! All of the nail polishes are under £15 with many of them being around £3.99 each. My current favourite shades are:

- Jessica Simply Sexy is a stone beige
- Burberry Nude Pink is a light pale nude pink
- Essie Spin the Bottle is a creamy beige with a hint of peach
- Formula X Danity is a slight off white
- Barry M Skinny Dip is a nude yellow
- Essie Private Weekend is a white with shimmer
- KIKO Silky Rose Nude is a matte rosy nude
- Barry M Cream Soda is a cream shade
- Barry M Pink Lemonade is a lighter pink

With all of these, you basically have all of the nude shades covered. The Barry M Nail Polishes are the most affordable at just £3.99 each. My favourite range from Barry M is the Gelly range as they are so glossy on the nails and I have always found them to last much longer on the nails than the original line. Cream Soda and Pink Lemonade are perfect Spring shades and I remember using these a tonne when I picked them up last year. The brushes with both of these polishes are the perfect size as it isn't too big or small and fits the nails perfectly to do each coat with just one or two swipes. Skinny Dip is from the Coconut Infusion range which is one of the newer lines from Barry M, the polishes from this range are £4.99 each but is often on 2 for £6 at Boots. These polishes are only to gently hydrate the nails from the Coconut Water and Oil included in the polishes.

You can never go wrong with an Essie Nail Polish if you ask me! Essie is one of my favourite nail polish brands and whenever I fancy a treat, I always go for an Essie nail polish. When I was browsing on the Superdrug website I found Private Weekend for just £3.99 so I had to have it as they are usually around £8. This is a lovely bright white shade and although it is similar to the one featured from Formula X, I do love that it has some shimmer in it. I have had my eyes on Essie Spin the Bottle for a while now and when I started watching Olivia Jade on YouTube and she has it on her nails all the time I knew I had to finally order it! It is the perfect peachy nude and this is one of my top two favourites at the moment.

If you are ever in TK Maxx, it is worth having a dig around the beauty section as the last few times that I have been in store, I have found Formula X Nail Polishes for around £3 each. In the bottle, Danity looks white but once on the nails it looks ever so slightly cream and I love it. These nail polishes are great and I can wear this one for around five days without any chipping, that's without base and top coat too! I have always loved the KIKO Nail Polishes and this matte shade from the Matte For You collection in Silky Rose Nude is a gorgeous shade. If I am ever in a hurry I always go for a matte shade as they dry so much quicker than any other nail polish. If you want to treat yourself, Burberry Nail Polishes are incredible and I have been really impressed. Nude Pink No.101 applies evenly to the shades and is pretty pigmented. These hold up brilliantly on the nails and don't chip for days. The final shade is one of the brand new shades from Jessica in the shade Simply Sexy. This is a gorgeous neutral nude and I have been wearing it a tonne recently! I like that the brush of this nail polish is on the smaller side as it makes it a lot less messy on application. This nail polish is super quick drying too!
