Pixi Glow-y Powder in Santorini Sunset

I have been on a serious highlighter kick recently, I have been doing nothing but getting new ones and this one I have truly fallen in love with. This is one of the more affordable highlighters as you can always find an amazing discount code with Look Fantastic and I have been so impressed with it so far, I definitely want to get the other shade and the blush soon!

Pixi has recently teamed up with a bunch of YouTubers and Aspyn has created some of the prettiest highlighters called glow-y powders which are just that! There are three different glow-y powders available, two of which are highlighter shades and one is a gorgeous blush. The shade I went for was Santorini Sunset, there is also London Lustre and Rome Rose. Each of the glow-y powders come in a round compact with a clear lid and light green packaging, I love the simplicity of the packaging.

This is one of the softest highlighters I have come across! It has a velvety soft texture and applies beautifully to the skin. I have some highlighters in my collection which I have paid almost £30 for which aren't as soft as this, it almost feels creamy to the touch. The closest product I could compare this to would be the Colour Pop Highlighters just slightly more powdery. While this adds a gorgeous glow to the cheekbones, it doesn't look glittery in the slightest, Santorini Sunset makes the skin look luminous which you just can't beat. This shade is a pale light gold which looks lovely on my lighter complexion. It doesn't matter what brush I use to apply it, it never clings to any dry patches or has too much kick up.

These glow-y powders are natural mineral powders and designed to add glow and sheer soft colour to the skin to brighten the complexion and they do just that! It isn't incredibly long lasting on the skin but I don't mind reapplying throughout the day as it is such a lovely shade and I love the texture of it. Pixi doesn't test on animals and this product has no parabens in.

The Pixi Glow-y Powders retail for £14 each but as Look Fantastic stock them, there is always a discount code available so I picked mine up for around £11 which I think is such a great price! Santorini Sunset is available - HERE.

  1. I've always been put off buying pixi products because of the packaging, even though i know they're great. I've been seeing this everywhere at the moment and it is really a beautiful highlight that would work fab with my pale skin, i think the lord is trying to tell me something...

  4. I love soft highlighter, the colour looks stunning especially on light skin tones. Glad you love it Hannah, I am surprised that it is pretty affordable with it being a collab I thought they would have hiked the price up. It sounds lovely, thank you for sharing xxx
