May 2017 Beauty Favourites

How nice has the weather been this month? I have kind of enjoyed it, I am much more of a Winter person really! This past month I have been loving so many products and I few I have been really obsessed with for a while now but I hadn't mentioned them at all or for a few months so I thought I would do a little update on those too!

If you saw last month's haul, you will know I went a bit mad for Tarte! The two standout products are the Maneater Eyeshadow Palette as well as the Shape Tape Concealer. The Maneater Palette is one of the best quality eyeshadow palettes I own, the shades are so buttery soft and easy to apply while being incredibly pigmented. The shadows are also so long lasting too and never crease or fade, this is just making me want to buy more Tarte eyeshadow palettes! The Shape Tape Concealer is possibly the best concealer I have ever used! This can cover anything and it never looks heavy on the skin, it is also very long lasting too. I can't fault this product at all and I really hope they release a foundation version soon.

My skin had been quite dry lately and Soap and Glory just launched Spritz Me Quick which quickly became a daily essential and favourite of mine. This is very hydrating on the skin but it feels so lightweight and sinks in so quickly so you don't have to wait around to get dressed. It smells incredible too and the scent lingers around for a fair few hours too. I have been using the La Roche Posay Respectissime Eye Maker Remover all month and I am so sad as I have just finished it! This is one of the best eye makeup removers I have ever used as it doesn't sting the eyes or leave behind any residue and it makes it so easy to remove all of my eye makeup.

I love pore minimising primers and I thought the one from Benefit was amazing and then I tried the Hylamide Ha Blur! This makes my skin look filtered and so smooth! I have quite big pores on my cheeks and around my nose and this is the best product I have ever used to hide them. The smallest amount goes a long way too. The final makeup favourite of mine this month has been the Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara. I have always been a fan of mascaras from Maybelline and this is another one to add to my favourites list. This adds a great amount of volume and thickness to the lashes without making them look clumpy!

My last few favourites this month are all nail products. The first one is the OPI Drip Dry Drops, I hate waiting for my nails to try as I am far too impatient and these are a game changer when it comes to nails. These drops have my nails completely dry within a couple of minutes and never leave my fingers feeling greasy like some similar products I have used before have done. I usually don't bother too much with my nails because they always chip within a day or two but the Rimmel Super Gel range is outstanding! They have just launched a few new shades for Summer (full review coming soon) and the Top Coat is the best one I have ever used! It makes my nail polish last for almost two weeks and leaves the nails looking so glossy!

What were your favourites this month?
