The absolute essential products you need for Summer time is SPF. You shouldn't ever ben without a decent SPF on your skin when you're exposed to the sun and the Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Face Mist SPF 50 is a must have in my handbag. While this is an SPF for the face, I also like to spritz it onto the hands and feet as these are areas I always forget to apply SPF to and because this is a spray, it is so quick and easy to apply! I have been really liking this product and I find it to be very lightweight on the skin and doesn't have a greasy feeling once applied.

The other SPF I have been obsessed with is the Ultrasun Ultralip Lip Protection SPF 30. With the skin on your lips being so much thinner than the rest of your face, you need to make sure you remember to apply SPF to them as from personal experience, you never want to get sunburnt lips as it is one of the most uncomfortable and painful things I have experienced. This is a higher SPF than the lip balms I had been using before and it does a great job at keeping the lips protected against sun damage but it also hydrates the lips. What I really like about this, is that it is actually effective in all temperatures and altitudes to prevent and reduce inflammation and chapping. This is such a bargain at £3.99.

As I do have acne-prone skin, I do find that my skin will produce more oil in these areas and I do have a lot of texture as well as having pretty large visible pores, I wanted to find a great primer and I think I have just found a new holy grail from Hylamide. The HA Blur Hyaluronic Based Finisher is one incredible product and from the first time I used this, I was obsessed with the results! I thought the Benefit POREFessional was good at blurring pores and then I tried this! This honestly makes your skin look filtered and flawless. It also prolongs the lasting time of my makeup and what I love about this is that you can even mix it in with your foundation. If you haven't tried this already, I highly recommend.

Being as pale as I am, I can't be without a bronzer which is where the Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint Healthy Glow Powder comes in. The powder itself is made up of two shades which when mixed together create the prettiest bronze shade perfect for my skin tone. These applies beautifully to the skin and has a very slight smoothing effect on the skin, I like to apply it to any areas that the sun would naturally hit. And to go with my bronzer, of course, I have to have some highlight! The NARS Multiple Stick in Copacabana has been my go to highlight recently for the cheekbones, I even wear it on no makeup days! This is a gorgeous shimmery pearly champagne shade and I like to apply it directly to the cheeks in a swipe motion and then blending with a damp sponge. This adds a lovely natural looking glow to the cheekbones but you can also use it on the eyes, lips and body!

I like to switch up my perfumes for Summer and the newly launched Nina Ricci Nina Luna Fragrance is such a lovely scent that is great for Summer. I absolutely love the bottle of this fragrance, it has accents of gold, black and blue and the scent itself is like nothing I own but everything I now love. Even though this is an Oriental fragrance, it does have a fruitiness to it and lightness perfect for summer. This has notes of:

Top: Wild Berries and Pear
Heart: Immortelle Flower, and Orange Blossom
Base: Sandalwood, Ambrox, Vanilla, Caramel, Honey Accord

I love bright and bold nail polishes for the summer and the Essie Nail Polish in Garden Variety is a new favourite. This is a stunning teal blue with high shine, I don't own any polishes quite like this shade! I love Essie nail polishes as they have great pigmentation and dry pretty quickly while being long-wearing. I always buy my Essie polishes from Fragrance Direct as they are so cheap at £2.99, you can buy three for the price of one pretty much when you order from them!
