Highlighters for Lighter Skin Tones

I am obsessed with highlighters but as I have extra light skin, it can be difficult to find highlighters to suit my skin tone. These are the highlighters that I am obsessed with and find look the best on my skin tone, I can't wait until I have a bit of a natural tan so that I can wear some gorgeous golden toned highlighters.Highlighters for Lighter Skin Tones

No matter your budget, I have a highlighter for you! I am obsessed with highlighters and I can't seem to stop buying them even though I already have a drawer full! I like to wear a few different tones when it comes to highlighters, depending on the blushes I am wearing or my eyeshadow that day will depend on the highlighter I want to wear. My favourite highlighters for pale skin are:

- Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Ice Cold: Iridescent White
- Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Peach Goddess: crushed pearly pink with peachy tones
- Sleek Solstice Palette: Three Powders & One Cream
- Pixi Glow-y Powder in Santorini Sunset: a golden peach shimmer
- La Girl 70 Watt: Pink toned.
- Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette:
- Too Faced Rosy Glow: Two shades, pearly white & light baby pink
- theBalm Mary Lou: honey-hued
- Physicians Formula Glow Pearls in Translucent

If you are on a budget and after a few different shades, I can't recommend the Sleek Solstice Palette enough. It includes three powder highlighters as well as a cream. My favourite shades from the palette are the bottom two. They look gorgeous on their own on the cheekbones but I actually like to mix the two! Another super affordable highlighter is the La Girl Strobe Lites, they are between £2.50 and £5 on Beauty Bay. This product is available in a bunch of different shades and the shade 70 Watt is much more pink toned that what I would usually go for but it looks perfect with a peachy-pink blush. The other more affordable option are the Pixi Glow-y Powders, I paid a little under £10 for mine as Look Fantastic always have amazing discount codes! These are incredibly smooth and soft highlights that look gorgeous on the skin. The shade Santorini Sunset reminds me a lot of theBalm's Mary Lou.

Speaking of Mary Lou, this is one of the best highlighters I have ever owned and I have used it so much I have massively hit pan on it! TheBalm know how to make highlighters! This is one of the best formulations when it comes to highlighters as it looks so smooth on the skin and doesn't cling to any texture or dryness and gives the skin an intense glow. Physicians Formula is a brand that I haven't tried much from and I always order from iHerb as they are the most affordable stockist even once you add on international shipping charges. The Glow Pearls in Translucent add a natural glow to the skin and because it is translucent, so many skin tones can use this.

If you want a highlighter that you can see from space, you can't go wrong with Jeffree Star's Skin Frosts. These are incredibly intense and provide a glow you can see from miles away. The shade Ice Cold is essentially a white highlighter, perfect for us pale girls or for mixing with other shades to lighten. The shade Peach Goddess is one of my favourites at the moment and I have been using it so much, paired with NARS Orgasm Blush on cheeks. Too Faced have some lovely highlighters and the Rosy Glow Candlelight Powder. This includes two different shades but I actually like to mix them together and it gives the skin a soft focus glow. I love the Sweet Peach Glow Palette and the highlighter in it is one of my most used. This palette is definitely used towards us pale girls and smells amazing too. The shades look very natural on the skin but add a stunning glow and sheen to the skin.

What's your favourite highlighter?
