Getting Bronzed for Summer

Bronzer is my best makeup friend at the moment! While I have been fake tanning my body, I never do my face in fear that I will have a reaction so bronzer it is! These are my favourite bronzing products to warm up the skin this summer.

The Blank Canvas Master Series Palette One is one of my most used palettes in my collection, it is packed full of warm tones. I love warm toned eyeshadows on me as I find that they warm up my complexion a lot and as I am pretty pale - this is a huge bonus! All of the shades in this palette are well pigmented and very blendable. This is a completely matte palette, minus one shade and I have been really like matte looks recently so this has been getting used almost every day again! This palette doesn't get as talked about as it should as it is such great quality!

The Rimmel Radiance Shimmer Brick is one of my new favourite products and it has so many uses! This is an ultra fine and soft bronzing powder that will add a healthy glow where ever you apply it. Because it does have a shimmer finish, I prefer to use this on the cheeks instead of blush to warm up the skin, to actually bronze my face I like to use products with a matte finish. Once all of the different shades have been swirled together it creates such a gorgeous shade that is perfect for my skin tone but you can even use each of the shades individually as eyeshadows! This retails for the bargain price of £5.99 - HERE.

When I want a matte bronzer, I always use my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. This is a strongly scented coconut bronzer that has a natural matte finish. This isn't overly pigmented that you have to worry about applying too much but it warms up the skin perfectly. Once applied, it looks very natural on the skin and never powdery while being long-lasting too. This is a little harder to get a hold of in the UK but I always order mine off iHerb, I think I paid around £10 for mine.

Another Rimmel product I have been using is the Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in 002 Coral Glow. Inside the sleek compact are three products, a highlighter, blush and bronzer. I love that this is a complete palette and I can definitely see this coming on holiday with me in a few weeks! All three of the shades work well together and aren't too pigmented that you have to worry about applying too much in one go. I love the blush shade in this palette, it is a gorgeous peachy pink shade and the bronzer is great for contouring too. This retails for £6.99 - HERE.

The Stila Heaven's Hue Highlighter in Bronze is unlike anything I have in my makeup bag. It has a bouncy texture and while this is actually a highlighter, I like to use it on the eyes as I am a little too light for this at the moment but it works well when I have some fake tan freshly applied! It melts into the skin and illuminates while being incredibly lightweight and long-lasting. Even though it does have a creamier texture, it doesn't transfer and it wears well throughout the day.

I have been wearing fake tan a lot recently but for an instant tan before heading out the door I have been using the Rimmel Instant Tan in Medium Matte. This is perfect for using on my legs when I do get them out as I wear jeans a lot of the time so they are extremely white and this adds a healthy tan to the skin without leaving the skin feeling sticky in the slightest! This is a water resistant formula so I don't have to worry too much if I get caught out in the rain but it does have a wash off formula.
