My Favourite High End Mascaras

Mascaras are one of my favourite beauty products to try as I am all about the lashes! I love super long, bold lashes so I am very picky when it comes to trying out new mascaras. I used to only use high street mascaras because they dry out so quickly and need to be replaced often but these four are the ones if you are looking to splurge.

One of the few mascaras I have and will continue to repurchase is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. This is one of those mascaras that does everything from lengthening and thickening to volumising without ever making my lashes look clumpy. I have been using this mascara on and off now for three years and I still can't get enough of it! Better Than Sex is one of the only mascaras that makes my lashes look false and I love that about this! It doesn't ever make my lashes feel heavy or look clumpy and it has a slight whispy effect on the lashes.

Benefit's Roller Lash is another favourite of mine and I have gone through a few tubes of it now. This is my favourite mascara to curl and lengthen the lashes while adding a slight thickness to them. I use this alone and as a base with other mascaras and it works well both ways. This mascara is brilliant and separating the lashes and it never looks clumpy. This is a very long-lasting mascara on my lashes and never transfers or melts off throughout the day. I do also really like the They're Real Mascara from Benefit but it is a little more difficult to remove which is why I don't use it as often.

The Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara doesn't make my lashes quite as long as the other mascaras in the post but I do love the effect it gives my lashes. This has an almost fluffy effect to the lashes and it is extremely lightweight to wear while never feeling or looking crispy.  Just like Roller Lash, it's very good at separating the lashes too. I really like the brush with this mascara as it makes it easy to coat the lashes from the lash line to the tip of the lashes without getting any mascara on to the skin to possibly ruin an eyeshadow look.

My final favourite mascara is one of the newer purchases I have made and it is the Tarte Maneater Mascara that I got as part of a QVC TSV a few months ago. I started using this mascara a little over a month ago and I haven't used anything else since! This mascara is incredibly lengthening and volumising and never makes my lashes look clumpy, no matter how many coats I apply. I really like the brush of this mascara too as it is similar to They're Real making it so easy to coat the lashes without getting any excess onto the skin but it also has a spiky end so you can 'go vertical' with it. It doesn't transfer at all throughout the day either.
