Summer Beauty Must Haves

Last week I spent the week in sunny Spain with almost 40-degree weather! While I loved being there for the week, my makeup and hair routines went out of the window and these products absolutely saved me! I didn't really do much when it came to my hair and makeup but this selection are must haves for crazy hot temperatures and I highly recommend them!Summer Beauty Must Haves

I am never without SPF, especially in the summer! I packed a full cosmetics bag full of SPF and actually used up a couple of bottles but the Vichy Idéal Soleil Velvety Cream SPF 50. This SPF is what I have been using every day for the past couple of weeks under my makeup as well as on no makeup days and I have found it to be the best for my skin. It doesn't interfere with my makeup and I haven't had any skin burn at all since I have been using it! The other SPF face related product I have been using is the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream. I have been raving about this for months and it was the only product I used while I was on holiday besides brows. It has great coverage, it can cover all of my discolouration with ease and doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation. It does also have SPF 50 so you don't have to worry if you forget to apply your SPF separately.

As I mentioned, I really didn't do my makeup while I was away apart from base and brows and the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil has been a must have. I have been only using pomades for about a year now and I had completely forgotten how good this product is. It is so long lasting, I actually applied this a 7 am, headed to the airport and didn't get home until 8 am the next day and my brows were still going strong! If you have oily skin, I would definitely recommend trying out the Beautyblender Blottazzi. This hasn't left my handbag since I got my hands on it as it is so handy to have throughout the day to blot away oil and touch up your makeup. My makeup often settles into my lines and this really helps correct this too.

I have stupidly long, thick hair and there was no way I was going to be blow drying it for the week I was away! I bought the Lee Stafford AiR Dry Cream LiTe and I used it every day and it honestly saved my hair. It makes my hair so soft and smooth but it also makes it dry so much quicker. I don't think I could be without this product now. Another summer must have has been the Solait Moisturising After Sun Spray. I did get slightly sun burnt a few times while I was away and this after sun is by far the best one I have ever used! It gets to work immediately and it stopped my skin from stinging as well as rehydrating the skin. It's very lightweight on the skin and doesn't leave it feeling at all greasy.
