Urban Decay Naked Heat Review with Swatches

Urban Decay knows how to make an eyeshadow palette and as soon as I saw this was being released, I knew I had to get my hands on it! I didn't think I needed another Naked palette but now that I have this one in my life, I think my dreams have one true! I love a warm toned eyeshadow palette and this one is perfection.

The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette is the newest palette from the brand and is by far my favourite. A lot of people have been saying this is the perfect summer palette but I can see this being used even more in Autumn, the deeper/darker shades are going to be perfect come October! I love the packaging of this palette, it comes in the same style packaging as the Naked Smoky Palette and is very durable with a great sized mirror inside. The brush included is also pretty good if you are on the go. The shades in this palette are:

- Ounce: ivory shimmer
- Chaser: light nude matte
- Sauced: soft terra-cotta matte
- Low Blow: brown matte
- Lumbre: copper shimmer with gold pearl shift
- He Devil: burnt red matte
- Dirty Talk: metallic burnt red
- Scorched: metallic deep read with gold micro shimmer
- Cayenne: deep terra-cotta matte
- En Fuego: burgundy matte
- Ashes: deep reddish-brown matte
- Ember: deep metallic copper/burgundy

This palette includes 12 all new shades from amber-hues to glimmering coppers. There is a great mixture of mattes and shimmer/metallic shades all of which work so well together! I have been so impressed with the pigmentation of this palette and I think it might be the most pigmented out of all of the Naked palettes I have tried. I know some swatches went around online making the quality look terrible but it just isn't the case! With any eyeshadows, you can use them wet or dry but I don't think you even really need to use them wet as they are so pigmented already but I used Dirty Talk wet and it looked foiled!

I have been wearing them without any primer and the shadows last all day without creasing or fading but with a primer, they are even more intense! I have found the shadows in this palette to apply so evenly and smoothly and are so easy to blend. This is one heck of a hot palette and if you love warm shades, you are going to want to get your hands on it! Even though almost all of the palettes in my collection contain warmer tones, I don't have anything like this palette in my collection so I know it's going to get used a lot!

My favourite shades in the palette at the moment are Lumbre, Scorched and Low Blow. Even though these shades are much deeper than what I am used too, I have been loving the palette and can create some gorgeous day time ready looks but I can also create some stunning evening makeup looks with it too. I think this is one of the palettes that everyone can use too as it will suit so many different skin tones. If you are thinking about this palette but not too sure about purchasing it, I highly recommend it! I have been so impressed with it and using it so much since it arrived.

The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette retails for £39.50 - HERE.
