Books I Read Last Month #3 (+ What I Watched)

I'm gutted I didn't get to read as many books as I wanted to this month, I have been so busy! But with it finally being September, I feel that it's 'okay' to start reading Christmas books...I have been feeling a bit festive I must admit! I have read what I think is my favourite read so far this year this month and I can't wait to share. I have decided to also start including my favourite movies and TV shows of the month as I am always watching something!
Books I Read Last Month #3
The first book I read this month as Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. I really enjoyed the story and I found it easy to follow, I finished it in just a few days. I really liked that you got the read the story from different perspectives and it seriously makes me want to go to Italy! I really liked the fun attentions to detail in this book, who would have thought a book would make me want to also live in a Gingerbread house! This is a really great summer read, I read it sat by the pool.

The next book I read this month was The Royal Engagement: The Young Royals Book 1 by Emma Lea. I love books about royals and this is by far the best book I have read this year! I was hooked on this from the first page and I just couldn't put it down, I am so happy that there are more books in the series but I am sad that they don't follow the same main characters as in this one as I really loved them. This is one of the few books that actually shocked me throughout (I HATED Jordan!) and I found some parts so unexpected...I actually said 'what is happening' out loud a few times throughout reading it and confused the people around me! I fell in love with the Princess in this book and I just can't wait to read more from Emma Lea.

I wanted a book that didn't require too much of my attention for when I was on the plane coming back from Airport, I was also massively delayed so I decided to finally read My Fight Your Fight by Ronda Rousey. I have had this on my kindle for ages now and I have really enjoyed reading it, I am a huge Ronda Rousey fan so I knew I was going to love this book. I have also just started When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon and I am really enjoying it so far! Everyone on Twitter has been absolutely raving about this book so I have extremely high hopes for it.

I have been watching quite a few different TV shows this month as I have been off work and I love a bit of background TV. If you love a Hallmark Channel movie, I highly recommend Chesapeake Shores on Netflix, season one is ready for you to binge and a new episode is out every week at the moment too. This has a really great cast and I am honestly hooked on it, I even set my alarm early every Tuesday so I can watch it early! The other TV show I have been watching is Will & Grace, I did watch this years ago and loved it so I have been rewatching it again before the new season starts in a few weeks and this show makes me laugh more than anything I have watched before!

What have been your favourite reads and watches this month?
