Yankee Candle Cookie Swap Collection Review

Foodie scented candles are my absolute favourite, I just can't get enough of them! While Bath and Body Works' Hot Cocoa and Cream is one of my favourites at the moment, the Yankee Candle Cookie Swap collection comes in at a close second. I have been waiting for these to launch in the UK after I saw them last year in the States, I wish we got all the scents at the same time as in America as I am too impatient!

Yankee Candle Cookie Swap Collection Review
The Yankee Candle Cookie Swap collection is making an appearance this year after its success in America last year. The collection includes six delicious scents, three of them are available at Yankee Candle stockists in a range of forms such as jar candles and wax melts and the other three of them are exclusive to Yankee Candle's UK website and are only available in large jars. I really wish that the other three scents from the collection were available in other forms as I would love to get my hands on them but I don't like to buy the large jars. The six scents in this collection are:

- Crunchy Pistachio Vanilla: a sweet, nutty scent of pistachio, almond and lots of rich vanilla.
- Sprinkled Sugar Cookie: a buttery warm scent covered in bright sugar sprinkles.
- Candy Cane Meringue: a featherweight meringue with vanilla, peppermint and a dash of citrus.
- Merry Berry Linzer: a jammy raspberry filling nested in almond shortbread and glazed with vanilla.
- Magic Cookie Bar: packed with layers of chocolate, coconut flakes, brown sugar and butterscotch.
- Iced Gingerbread: a spicy gingerbread cookie with vanilla icing.

The three scents I have are Merry Berry Linzer, Magic Cookie Bar and Iced Gingerbread, I picked these up from the House of Harris Gifts website as they are a Yankee Candle stockist. I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to be a fan of these scents as even though I love sweet foodie scents, I'm not a fan of almond or spicy notes but I have fallen in love with all three of the scents and I can't wait to order a few more to use in the Winter.

I have found that because they have vanilla notes and sweeter elements to them, they balance out the notes I am not usually a fan of. I was almost sure I wasn't going to like Iced Gingerbread but I think it is actually my favourite! It isn't too strong but can easily fill a room with the fragrance. All three of the scents are on the richer side without being sickly or overpowering when warmed, they smell scrumptious! If you like foodie scents but prefer something with a fruity kick, I think you will really love Merry Berry Linzer! This is the kind of foodie scent I would burn all year round whereas Magic Cookie Bar is what I love to have my home smelling like in the Winter. It smells like freshly baked cookies and all things delicious.

With the wax melts from Yankee Candle, they will provide around eight hours of home fragrance and all you have to do is pop one into a warmer, either an electric one or a tea light warmer and you are good to go! With these three scents, I found I got more than my eight hours of fragrance, I find this to be an occurrence with most of my Yankee Candle melts and they all had a great scent throw.

The Yankee Candle Cookie Swap Collection is available - HERE. I often order my Yankee Candle's from eBay as many of the stockists have eBay shops and I usually find they are slightly cheaper on here with free delivery!
