Prima Makeup Glitter Shadows

I am a huge fan of glitter shadows but they can be a bit of a pain to apply so I don't wear them as much as I want to. However, Prima glitters are the next best thing! I haven't tried anything from Prima Makeup before but they launched back in 2014 and have some beautiful products available, I can see this being the start of a huge collection!

There are a few different products available from the brand and I have been testing out a couple of the Single Pressed Glitter Shadows. I hadn't read too much about these before I swatched them but I have been so impressed! These glitters have such a unique formula as they have a built-in adhesive so you don't need a separate fixing gel. These glitters are more like a gel when you apply them and I actually prefer this about them as you don't get much fallout meaning you don't have to worry about messing up your makeup!

These can be a little difficult to apply with a brush so I have found that applying them with either my finger or a sponge applicator works best. As I have only been using these glitters on my eyes, I have been applying my crease shades first and then going in with the glitters on the lid last so I don't end up moving the glitter around. The adhesive within the pressed shadows is fantastic as it really holds the glitter on all day long, I know I am going to use these glitters a tonne during the holiday season too.

I love that Prima Makeup's pressed glitters are gluten-free, vegan-friendly, paraben free as well as being formaldehyde free. They also aren't tested on animals - yay! All of the pressed glitters are safe to use on the eyes and lips as they have been made with premium quality cosmetic grade glitter so they are safe to use on the skin and lips without having to worry. They also include as many natural ingredients as they can in their products and they are all non-toxic. I'm really happy about the price point of these too as they are only £3.75 each and all you have to do is pop one in a magnetic palette and you can travel with them or keep them in your makeup bag.

The Prima Beauty Pressed Glitter Shadows are available - HERE. (UK Shipping is only £1.50 too!)
