Simple Water Boost Skincare

I have been a huge fan of Simple Skincare for years now and their face wipes are the only ones I will ever use when I am in a hurry. They have just launched a brand new range, the Water Boost line to inject even more hydration into your skincare routine. If you have sensitive and dehydrated skin, these will be your new best friends.

The Water Boost range from Simple Skincare has been created to help reverse the five signs of skin dehydration (dryness, dullness, roughness, tightness and dehydration lines). There are three products in the range and they are all free from harsh chemicals, artificial colours and perfumes, making them perfect for those with sensitive skin. I have been having a few issues with dry patches lately and as we head into colder weather, I knew I was going to need some super hydrating products and these are a perfect fit for my skincare routine! I am quite fussy when it comes to skincare but these are definitely going to be repurchased. All three of the products have a key active of Pentavitin which is a skin-identical plant extract and the intelligent ingredient that mimics the skins naturally occurring moisturising agents found in your skin. It has a special ability to bond with skin cells, allowing your skin to build moisture over time.

The one skincare product I have used for years is the Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water, I have gone through so many bottles of the stuff so I was excited to see how the Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water would compare. This is available in two sizes (200ml for £4.99 and 400ml for £6.99). I have been using this every single night for a couple of weeks now to remove my makeup and it does a fantastic job! I apply a generous amount of a cotton pad and wipe them around my face to remove all traces of makeup and there is absolutely no need to rub at the skin. It can remove heavy eye makeup with ease. I have found it to be slightly better than the other micellar water from the brand as it is very comforting and hydrating on the skin as I expected it too.  It doesn't irritate my eyes at all either. My skin always feels super soft after each use and I have noticed my skin has been much more hydrated since I have started using this.

The other product I have been putting to the test from the range is the Hydrating Booster. This can be used as a primer, mixed in with your daily moisturiser or as a specific treatment. I personally like to use this as part of my evening skincare routine before applying my night time moisturiser.  This feels like water as you apply it to the skin and it sinks in within seconds so I will definitely be using this in the morning during the winter to add further hydration to my skin. This is super hydrating on the skin and it has been hydrating my skin like no other product I have ever used! It instantly comforts the skin and I have noticed my skin to look so much brighter as well as being so soft since I started using this. I also like to use this after I have used a detoxifying face mask as my skin can feel quite tight afterwards and this does a brilliant job at reliving the skin of that uncomfortable feeling. This retails for £6.99 and I can't recommend it enough if you have dry skin.
