I can't believe I have never tried anything from this brand before, where have I been?! I think I might have tried some shampoo and conditioner years ago but L'Occtiane is a brand I have wanted to get into for years now. They have a really great deal starting day for Black Friday so if you have been wanting to try out some products or want to get stocked up, now is the best time to do so!
I usually hate hand creams, there is only one other one that I like and I much prefer the L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (£20) now that I have tried it! One of these hand creams is sold every three seconds worldwide and now I completely understand why; it's incredible stuff! Each tube is enriched with 20% Shea Butter with a blend of almond, honey and coconut oil for added nourishment. It also has Jasmine and ylang-ylang to make the scent heavenly. You only need the tiniest amount of the hand cream for it to get to work and my hands have never been softer! This is one of the only hand creams that I have tried that actually sinks in within seconds and doesn't leave any oily traces behind. I hate how most hand creams feel on the skin once applied and the fact that this feels like nothing makes me so happy! I did have quite dry knuckles and my hands have never been soft really until I used this! Within a few applications, the dry patches disappeared! My hands feel so smooth and hydrated now, I just can't get enough.
The other product I have been trying out is the Shea Shower Oil (£19) which launched just last month. This has been developed with 10% lipid-rich Shea oil and this shower oil will gently cleanse the body while leaving a nourishing, protective film on the skin. It will help to soften even dry skins and will contribute to soothe feelings of tightness. I have got to admit I have been loving and enjoying this product so far! I have been using it a few times a week and it is a lovely skin treat. I have slightly dry skin and during the winter it is even more important to keep the skin hydrated and this prevents me ever forgetting to actually moisturise! I usually hate using body lotions and creams so I always forget but as this cleanses the skin too it's perfect for me. Even though it does leave a slight film on the skin, it isn't uncomfortable or greasy feeling at all. This has a light delicate scent that does lightly linger on the skin too which I love.
