MAC In the Buff Eyeshadow Palette

I am obsessed with eyeshadow palettes at the moment, I don't know what's happened but I just can't get enough of them! MAC used to be one of my all-time favourite brands so I was excited to try out some of the eyeshadows again recently and this palette is gorgeous.

Mac products used to be all I would wear years ago, I was honestly obsessed with the brand. With every new collection launch, I would buy more and more makeup - especially with the eyeshadows and limited editions. I had been this palette in a couple of videos online and I fell in love with the look of it! If you know me, you'll know how much I love warm-toned eyeshadows and they are my absolute favourites so this palette was right up my street with those gorgeous tones! This is the In The Buff Palette, a travel retail exclusive to World Duty Free. It's fantastic value for money and you can buy all of the shadows individually too. In this palette, you get well-loved shades like All That Glitters, Amber Lights, Ricepaper and Carbon that are all shades I have had my eye on for years!

The palette itself is perfect for travelling as it is a durable plastic with a clear top and strong magnetic closure. I like that the top of the palette is clear as it makes it easier to find the right palette if you own multiple. This is the perfect neutral palette for every day with slightly warmer tones as well as pops of colour! It has been years since I had tried MAC shadows and I have been really enjoying them again, especially the matte shades. This is definitely a one-stop shop palette as you can create so many different complete eyeshadow looks with it. You can easily create wearable and lighter eye looks for every day but you can also create vampy and deeper looks with shades like Embark and Beauty Marked. I love that you get a good mixture of matte and shimmer shades as well as very light shades for highlighting the brow boneand super deep shades like Carbon to deepen eyeshadow looks and create a stunning smokey eye.

All of the 15 eyeshadows in this palette have fantastic pigmentation but the shades that have impressed me the most have been the matte shades. I'm not usually a matte fan of completely matte eyeshadow looks but I have been really loving them when I use this palette. All of the matte shades are well pigmentated, buildable and easy to blend to create a seamless eyeshadow look each and every time. Even if I don't use this palette alone to completely create an eyeshadow look, I have been grabbing it to use at least one or two shades for the crease! I don't often use eyeshadow primer anymore but these shadows all last brilliantly throughout the day.

The MAC In The Buff Palette retails for £42.05 at World Duty Free - HERE
