Five Palettes to Invest In

Palettes are my weakness, I just can't stop buying them or lusting over them. I already have a few on my 'to-buy list' once my spending ban ends but I thought I would share the five that I am absolutely obsessed with at the moment. There are four eyeshadow palettes and one highlighter palette that I just can't get enough of.
Five Palettes to Invest In

I've had this palette for about 18 months now and I still use it regularly, it's definitely a holy grail product for me. This palette smells good enough to eat and I love the shades and how easy they are to apply and blend. This is an effortless palette for me as I know I can create any look with it and the shades will work well together. My favourite shades from this palette are Salted Caramel, White Chocolate, Marzipan and Milk Chocolate.

This is my most used highlighter palette and if you want an intense highlight, you'll love this palette! I mainly use Helix and Gammaray and these powders are definitely highlighters you can see from space, they are super intense. I often mix the two and I love how it looks on the cheekbones. I also like to use these shades on the eyes, they look stunning in the inner corner and on the lid. For such intense highlighters, I love that they don't draw too much attention to my texture issues and they're highly reflective. They look almost wet on the skin once applied and they are literally blinding.

This is my most recent palette purchase that I picked up about two months ago now and I don't know why it took me so long to get it as I adore it! I love warm tones on the eyes and this is a peachy obsession of mine. I'm surprised at how much I actually use this and that the shadows aren't too intense or bold for my light, sometimes ghostly, complexion. This is probably the only palette that I would use every single shade from. I mainly create matte looks with, especially when I am in a hurry to get ready in the morning as I know they will blend together quickly and look good!

I got this palette last year as part of a QVC deal and I'm still obsessed with it! Tarte makes some of the best eyeshadows I have ever used and I really need to get my hands on the Tartelette palettes soon. This is the palette I usually grab if I don't know what eye look to do as it is the smallest and doesn't give me too much choice. I usually go for Foxy on the lid, a mix of Purr and Saucy in the crease with Midnight on the lower lash line and Meow as a brow bone highlight.

This palette is not talked about enough as it is so good! This is an almost completely matte palette and the shades have such great pigmentation, apply brilliantly while being so soft to the touch. I use this palette all the time, especially in the crease. This is a really great warm toned matte palette and if you are in the market for a new one, I would definitely check this one out. I reviewed it back in 2016 with swatches which you can check out - HERE.
