Vegan Beauty Recommendations

Finding beauty products that are vegan can be a little bit of a struggle. Especially, with brands like Garnier claiming that their products are vegan even know they aren't. MAC is also a brand claiming that they don't support animal testing...yet they sell in China where testing on animals is required by law. So, I thought I would share some of my favourite beauty products that are vegan and are cruelty-free.
Vegan Beauty Recommendations
My favourite ever makeup product just so happens to be vegan and cruelty-free and it is the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. This is one heck of a product and really is worth all of the hype that it gets! I have had mine for a year now and it's almost finished so I will have to buy a new one soon but honestly, it's that good that I don't mind the £22 price tag. This is a full coverage concealer that I mainly use under the eyes to conceal and brighten and it is the best concealer I have ever used. Even though it is such high coverage it never looks heavy or cakey on the skin. Tarte has quite a few vegan products and they are all highlighted on their website.

One place that I think is often missed as having cruelty-free and vegan products is Superdrug! I'm almost positive that all of the Superdrug skincare products are vegan, at least the ones I have tried so far at least! I have been really enjoying the Vitamin C range so far and will have a full review up on these products soon and another firm favourite of mine has been the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is a very close dupe to the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish at a much more affordable price. It removes all traces of makeup so quickly and easily and doesn't irritate my eyes in the slightest! I really want to try some of the other products from the Vitamin E line soon.

You already know by now just how obsessed I am with Glossier, I can't get enough of the brand! While all products from Glossier aren't tested on animals, they do also have a select few products that are vegan and they happen to be some of my favourites! The first is Wowder, a finishing powder that I like to use to set my foundation. This mattifies the skin without leaving it at all powdery. It's very smooth and light on the skin and is available in three shades. As we head into sunnier weather it's much more important to keep our skin protected so I like to use the Invisible Shield as my daily SPF. This is a clear SPF so it isn't going to add a white cast to the skin and I like that it's very lightweight. The final picks from Glossier are the Generation G Lipsticks. I have three of these sheer matte lip products and I really do like them which is surprising as I don't usually like a matte finish! They are very comfortable to wear and look lovely paired with a gloss. If you haven't tried Glossier you can 10% off your first order when you shop via this link - http://bff.glossier.com/hEtCI

My final two vegan picks are both from Ark Skincare. I have used this brand in the past and really enjoyed the products but I didn't realise they even had vegan products until recently! The first of the two I have been testing out is the Hydration Injection Masque, I tried this out forever ago so I was excited to put it to the test again! This masque has been my go-to for when I need intense hydration and as my skin has been quite dry recently it has been the perfect time to test it out! Not only does this moisturise the skin but it also adds a healthy glow. The second product is the Clearing Serum. This has been really helping with my blemishes without irritating the skin, it is actually very calming. It's really helped with my redness so far too and it is perfect to use if you have oily skin has it helps with excess oil.

And a brand as a whole that I would recommend for vegan products is Tropic. I will do a full post soon highlighting my favourite products from the brand as this post will be super long if I included those as well. Two of my favourites at the moment are the Tamanu Balm and the So Sleepy Mist.
