April Beauty Favourites

It's been quite a lovely month if I do say so myself! The weather has been gorgeous and it's nice to have some sunshine again. I have fallen back in love with beauty products this month but for day to day, I have been keeping my makeup quite natural and simple which is reflected in my favourites.
April Beauty Favourites
My first favourite this month has been the Too Faced Love Light Highlighter in Blinded By the Light, I can't get enough of it! I usually love an intense highlight but this has been my daily go-to. It is a great match for my skin tone so it doesn't add too much of a colour but the sheen it gives the cheekbones is gorgeous. If I do want to bump up the intensity, I actually apply it with my finger rather than a brush. I have also been using it on the eyes, I did review this and another shade last year which you can check out - here.

I have two favourites my Tarte this month - I am truly obsessed with the brand! I think Tarte has become one of my three favourite ever brands and I can't wait to get my hands on even more products. The first of the two is the Shape Tape Hydrating Foundation. I wasn't sure how much I would like this but I have probably worn it for 85% of this month and it is one of the most comfortable foundations I have ever used. I love the coverage and the fact that it actually looks natural on the skin. Just like the previous product, I also have up a full review - here. The second favourite from Tarte is the Lip Rescue Quench in Nude. I am absolutely obsessed with these and it's been almost a year since I first got my hands on them. I have been wearing this shade almost every day this month and it adds the perfect hint of colour to the lips, while going with any makeup look, and adds a tonne of hydration.

Essence is one of my favourite affordable brands and the You Better Work! Primer has seriously impressed me. It's only £3.50 and it makes my makeup last all day, I love the fact that it has SPF in it too. It's very smoothing on the skin while prolonging the wear of makeup and creates a great base for makeup. Definitely, check this out next time you're in Wilko!

The last beauty favourite this month is the Style Freedom Rejuvenating Vitamin Oil. I love hair oils and I had just ran out of my holy grail one so I thought I would try this again and I think it might have actually become my new must-have! I only need two pumps for my thick hair and it adds so much hydration and softness to the hair. It isn't heavy or sticky and I love that it's affordable.

Finally, this month I started a twitter retweet account after noticing that none of the ones I was using would never actually retweeted anyone. If you want to follow it, I would be very happy if you did and if you're a blogger, make sure to tag @blogger_edit in your posts so I can retweet them!

What were your favourites this month?
