I have waited five long months for this collaboration and it was definitely worth the wait! I have been a fan of Miley ever since I first watched Hannah Montana about ten years ago and these shoes are basically like my dream as I wear nothing but converse. I know I will be getting even more from this collection soon...
As soon as I saw these launch, I knew I had to have them! I have had my eyes on one pair since Miley posted a photo on Instagram back in November! I couldn't decide which ones I wanted so I decided on ordering four of the shoe styles and I have picked two that are my absolute favourites. This collection also includes some clothing pieces and a backpack that I didn't think I would be too fussed about but I definitely want to pick up one of the hoodies as soon as I have the money!
The first pair I ordered from the collection was the Chuck Taylor All Star Lift x Miley Cyrus in the pink and silver Glitter colour option. I do really like these but as I am already pretty tall so I don't need/want any extra height. These come with silver sparkly laces and I love that even the sole has the MC x Converse logo on. The second pair I went for were the Chuck Taylor All star x Miley Cyrus High Tops in the white and pink glitter. These are absolutely stunning and come with the same laces as the previous pair. I ordered both of the Chuck Taylor All Star x Miley Cyrus' and I was surprised at how much I love the white/black bandana print. I didn't think I would keep these honestly but I am obsessed!
With each set, you get two sets of laces so you can switch them out to whatever you prefer. I love that the laces come with the little metal MC logo as it is such a great little touch. Even the boxes that the shoes come in have had a little update for the collection with the logo on the top of the box and a design embossed onto it. I have been wearing converse for probably ten years now and they are the only shoes that I will wear into the ground and just buy them again. They are great quality so I do think they are a good investment, especially as I wear them pretty much every day! The shoes from this collaboration retail between £60 and £80 depending on the design which isn't too much more than any from the standard Converse range.
I'm a size 6 and have always worn my true size but when I was ordering these on launch day, my size was actually out of stock so I ended up going either half a size down or up and I found that a 5.5 is actually a great fit! Unfortunately, the white and silver glitter pair is too big for me as they were a 6.5 but I will definitely be ordering those as soon as my size is back in stock as they were actually the reason for my order!
