As someone who dyes her hair regularly, I need hair products that are going to prevent my colour from fading while keeping my hair hydrated. If you're heading to the beach, enjoying the summer weather or just need some new hair care to try, I highly recommend these four products!
Umberto Giannini is quickly becoming one of my favourite hair care brands! My hair has been loving their products and I love that fact they are a cruelty-free and vegan brand so everyone can use the products! If you're going on holiday or need some new hair care for the Summer season then you need to try the Mermaid Hair Kit! This comes with four incredible products that I have been obsessed with.
The first two products in the kit are the Beach Wash Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo is very gentle so it can be used daily and is enriched with coconut oil to restore the natural beauty of your hair. It's paraben free and while hydrating and nourishing the hair it will help restore softness, flexibility and shine. The conditioner has been enriched with coconut oil and shea butter to help moisturise and restore softness. These have been keeping my hair soft and glossy while smelling amazing! My hair is usually weighed down but my hair has had so much more life in it and I love how bouncy it feels. I've noticed that my hair has been looking much sleeker too which is due to the conditioner having de-frizzing properties! These retail for £6 each.
The Mermaid Hair Volume Mousse retails for £7 and this is rich in coconut oil and the creamy mousse will help give the hair full, beachy, natural volume with a loose and undone texture. It doesn't leave the hair feeling crispy after use and I love that it also has UV filters to help protect your hair against damage and keep your colour for longer. I'm not usually a massive fan of mousses but I actually really like this one which surprised me! This keeps my hair feeling super soft as it has conditioning and softening ingredients but it adds the perfect amount of volume to the hair! I usually find volume in my hair to be a little intimating but I love how natural this is!
The final product in the kit is the Pool Proof Leave-In Hair Protection Cream, this retails for £8. If you are going to be swimming any time soon, then you need this! This is a hair protecting treatment that will do such much for your hair. It's going to help repel water, deeply condition while keeping it detangled and will prevent colour fade. It's also going to help minimise the drying effects from chlorine and salt water. It can be used on wet and dry hair or even the night more sun exposure so there no excuse not to use this! My hair would always feel so dry and dead after swimming and this works wonders. When I go to the beach this is going to be a must-have product.
