Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review

This is such a throwback for me as when this brush first launched, it was all I used for the longest time! Then I started using sponges to apply my makeup for a few years and now I'm back to brushes again and I can't work out why I ever stopped using this.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review
The Real Techniques Expert Face Brush is available in a full size handed brush for £9.99 as well as a mini size that's perfect for travelling at £5.99. This brush has been designed for applying your base products, whether they be liquid or cream this brush has got you covered! It has been made with ultra-plush, synthetic Taklon bristles that are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free.

The Expert Face Brush features a wider, ultra firm brush that will help create a flawless base. I have been using this with a mixture of my foundations and I love the coverage it gives. I'm not sure if they have redesigned the brush since I had last owned but this one seems like it is of a much higher quality! The bristles are incredibly soft and the handle has a good weight to it and it easy to hold. Like almost all of the Real Techniques brushes, it has a flat base so you can stand it on any surface if you want too.

I love the shape of this brush and I find it to be the perfect size to apply my base products. It isn't so big that you can't blend it around the nose but it isn't so small that it would take forever to apply my foundations. It fits under the eyes, around the chin and high points of the face well. It creates a smooth, seamless base and I do personally prefer to use it with my liquid foundations but it does work well with creams as well. I have washed it a couple of times since I got it and it holds its shape well without shedding!
