August 2018 Beauty Favourites

This month has been very chilled for me. I have been off work for pretty much the whole month and I go back to work next week! This month I haven't worn makeup too much but these products have been consistently on my face and I'm obsessed with them.
August 2018 Beauty Favourites
My first favourite this month is the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream, this is honestly one of the best base products I have ever used! I don't have a bad thing to say about this, it has incredible coverage without looking like you have any foundation on. It's very hydrating on the skin and I love that it has SPF 50 in it too. This has been my daily go-to product for the whole Summer as it covers my acne with ease, without the need for any concealer and it's so lightweight. It also has colour correcting benefits which is such a great bonus! If you haven't tried this yet, put it at the top of your wishlist!

Even though the CC cream does have SPF in it, I do like to wear one anyway. The one I have been using for months now is the Glossier Invisible Shield. It's an SPF 30 that's clear so you never have to worry about it leaving a white cast on the skin. It has kept my skin well protected and I haven't got sunburnt once! This is one of the only facial SPFs that doesn't irritate my skin so I will definitely be repurchasing this soon.

The Lottie London Eye Foils is a new discovery of mine and I can't get enough of them. These are liquid eyeshadows that have a shimmery, high duo-chrome effect to them - they are seriously stunning! They are so affordable at around £6 each and I hope they come out with more shades soon. They are so easy and quick to apply so I can see myself using these a lot when I go back to getting up at 5:30 am for work. They don't fade or crease throughout the day and having tried so many products similar to these, I can say that these are one of the best!

I have quite a few of the Jeffree Star Skin Frosts and after watching The Secret Life of Jeffree Star, I pulled back out Princess Cut and I forgot just how much I love this one. These highlighters are incredibly intense and if you don't like a strong highlight I would stay away from these! Princess Cut is a gorgeous baby pink highlight and I find it works well for my skin tone. These are so long-lasting on the cheekbones and I have been loving applying it with the Real Techniques Setting Brush.

My final favourite this month is the YSL Liquid Lip Balms. These are a cross between a lip gloss and a lip balm and I can't get enough of them! They're so hydrating on the lips and they leave the lips looking glossy without having to worry about your hair getting stuck to your lips. I have two shades and they are both pretty pigmented. I reviewed these recently and you can find out more about them - HERE.
