Zoella Beauty Milky Way Bath Review

I adore Zoe's Christmas collections this year and I couldn't resist picking up a few from the beauty range. This product was at the top of my wishlist as soon as I spotted it online and as I had never tried anything like this, I had no idea what to even expect but I have been really enjoying it!

Zoella Beauty Milky Way Bath Review
The Zoella Beauty Milky Way Bath is a bath milk powder that retails for £5. This year is available as an individual product and as part of two gift sets and I picked it up as alone. It's said to be a dreamy, moisturizing bath powder that has been enriched with soothing vanilla and peppermint to be the perfect way to soothe your senses and leave the skin feeling beautifully soft and hydrated. I believe it's the same as the bath powder that was part of the Jelly and Gelato collection but with a different scent and packaged differently.

The packaging of this product is one of the stars of this collection. The bath powder comes in a resealable silver pouch with a holographic flip and tiny white stars and dot illustrations. Zoe has outdone herself with the packaging of this collection and it's my favourite to date. On the back of the packet, it does say that there are three recommended uses per sachet which makes it better value for money. I have used this as recommended and you can get a great bath out of a third of the sachet so there is no need to use any more than that.

To use the bath powder in your bath, all you have to do it pour some of the powder under running water and you're good to go! Once you've poured some under the water it turns the water into a milky colour and even adds a few bubbles to the bath. It makes the water have a milky texture and it is softening on the skin. As far as the scent goes, it's sweet peppermint but I personally can't smell any vanilla in it. I am a bit of a vanilla scent note snob so that could just be me but regardless of that, it is a lovely scent. It's very fresh and the scent does linger on the skin. The bubble's that it added to the bath didn't last too long but the milky texture did last for the duration of my bath. It really did soften my skin and I wasn't expecting it to!

I will definitely be repurchasing this and using it with other products like the bubble bath that's included in one of the gift sets or even the bath oil melts from the range.
