I love this time of year for nail polishes. I love dark colours on my nails so I always find myself painting my nails much more often at this time of year. I thought I would share some of my favourite shades and false nails today.
Nails Inc is my favourite nail polish brand, I love that they are cruelty-free and they are one of the few brands of nail polish that doesn't actually chip within 24 hours on my nails. The first of the two shades I'm talking about today is from the Girl King Duo (review and swatches here) and it's the shade Fearless Female. This is a khaki shade in a cream finish, I never thought I would like a green nail polish but this is such a gorgeous Autumnal shade! The other one from Nails Inc I love is from the Gel Effect line in the shade Kensington High Street. It's a wine/deep berry shade and this is actually the kind of shade I like to wear on my lips as well.
OPI polishes have always been a staple in my collection and Sleigh Parking Only is a shade I accidentally have in my collection twice so I must really love this shade! This is a darker plum-purple shade, it sounds similar to the previous shade I mentioned but they look completely different on the nails. Another OPI favourite of mine is My Gondola or Yours? which is a smokey nail polish that is extremely close to being black. It has a super glossy finish and a black nail polish is a must-have all year round for me.
Essie is another nail polish brand favourite and my two favourite shades are Midnight Cami and Mind Your Mittens. I always buy my Essie polishes from Fragrance Direct as you can get them for around £3 each! Midnight Cami is a darker blue metallic shade and Mind Your Mittens is a darker teal. These two shades have been ones I have been using for years at this time of year and I still adore them as much as when I first picked them up.
Kiss Nails are some of my favourites when it comes to false nails. The Gel Fantasy Nails I have been loving lately are is a gorgeous deep burgundy shade and the One Step Gels are perfect if you have smaller nails. These ones come with a dark matte denim shade and some pale gold nails perfect for accent nails. Kiss Nails are available at Superdrug and they are so quick and easy to apply but always leave your nails looking like you've had a manicure in a salon!
