Must Have Products for Spot Prone Skin

My acne has been one of my biggest beauty struggles in the last couple of months and I'm so happy to have it under control again. If you have been struggling with your skin like I have, I thought I would share some of the products that have been working wonders for me in case they might work for you!
Must Have Products for Spot Prone Skin
One of the things I have been doing recently is the easiest thing to introduce and that's double cleansing as part of your evening skincare routine. I had realised that I had stopped doing this for a while and my skin really suffered! I like to use a facial oil or a micellar water to remove my makeup and then I use the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. This is really gentle on the skin but leaves the skin feeling clean but not stripped of hydration.

When my skin is dehydrated but I have a few spots, I like to use the Pixi Jasmine Oil Blend as it works wonders for both! I will replace my moisturiser with this in my evening skincare routine and each morning I will see an improvement in my skin. I would have never of thought that a oil would be beneficial to my spots but I do really recommend this. Another product I like to use for smaller spots and blemishes is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% with Zinc 1%. I find that I have to use this for an extended period of time to see results with this but it really helps to keep my skin under control. It's made a big difference to my uneven skin tone as well.

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is the one product that I know that I can use and will always see results. It can get rid of any type of spot from a small blemish to a cystic acne breakout and I love that it doesn't dry out my skin! If you have acne, I would definitely recommend giving this a try as I'm currently on my fourth bottle. My final must have is one of the newer additions to my skincare stash and it's the Emma Hardie Purifying Detox Face Mask. This is a pink clay mask which I was expecting to be a little drying on the skin but it's actually hydrating. This is so beneficial to my skin and two of my favourite things that it does is to instantly reduce my redness as well as helping my spots go down much quicker. They will be slightly reduced after removing the face mask but the next day I always notice that my spots are down by about 80%!
