New CID Cosmetics I-Glow in Aurora Review

I'm obsessed with highlighters, they're one of my favourite makeup products to try so I'm always excited to try out a new one! New CID Cosmetic is a brand I haven't tried much of before and this has been a fantastic introduction.

The I-Glow in Aurora is the latest addition to the best-selling I-Glow family and it was developed after the response to feedback at CID based on their existing best-selling highlighter, Sirocco. While Sirocco is perfect for providing a warm golden glow, Aurora has a silver-toned base. This is the perfect highlighter for paler skin tones as it is extremely flattering. This is the first highlighting product I have tried from the brand and now I can't wait to try out more.

I love the packaging of this product, the white compact is on the chunkier side which I love. The reason it is on the chunkier side is because the highlighter is baked so it isn't a flat pan like other powder products. Inside the compact is a large mirror for on the go applications and touch-ups and the swirled effect highlighter.

The reason I was so interested in this product is because of the different colours that have been included for this shade, particularly the green colouring. I was really interested to see what this would look like on my skin tone and it's perfect for everyday use. The green element to it as colouring correcting properties which I didn't think I needed in a highlighter but it does make a huge difference! While this is an icy-toned highlight, there are some warm toned swirled into the powder so that it does add a little warm too.

It looks absolutely stunning on the cheekbones or where ever you apply it, it doesn't look powdery on the skin and even though it adds a gorgeous glow, it doesn't look like there's actually any product there! It's so finely milled and it doesn't draw any attention to any texture issues or my pores! It's extremely long-lasting once applied and if you have a lighter skin tone, I can't recommend this shade enough.

The New CID Cosmetics I-Glow in Aurora retails for £27.50 - HERE
