November 2018 Beauty Favourites

I can't tell you how happy I am that it's December tomorrow! I am a Christmas obsessive and while I have been feeling a little festive since September, I can't wait to go extra tomorrow and start wearing all of my Christmas jumpers! This month, I have five makeup products that I have been really enjoying to share and that I can't recommend enough.

MAC In the Buff Eyeshadow Palette

I am obsessed with eyeshadow palettes at the moment, I don't know what's happened but I just can't get enough of them! MAC used to be one of my all-time favourite brands so I was excited to try out some of the eyeshadows again recently and this palette is gorgeous.

Christmas Lip Product Gift Set Top Picks

Lip products are one of my favourite products in my makeup collection and at Christmas I always go a little crazy! I find the Christmas gift sets to be the best value for money and I personally always love getting the mini sizes as I hardly ever go through a full size! These are my four top picks from the Christmas gift offerings this year.

MAC Nutcracker Sweet Red Lip Gloss Set (+ Swatches)

I haven't been this interested in MAC products in a long time but this collection is seriously cute and I have already got my eyes on a few more sets! This is the Nutcracker Sweet collection for Christmas this year which includes a bunch of mini sets (all great value for money) as well as individual products and beautiful face compacts.

As soon as I saw that Whisper of Gilt was coming back, I made it my mission to get my hands on it. I am a huge fan of highlighters but I really don't have that many in my collection so I thought I would invest in this while it is available again. This is from the Christmas collection this year and I must say that I am loving the packaging this year and it is my favourite from the past couple of years, I already have a few other things and more on my 'to buy' list!

Concealing Acne and Redness

I have always struggled with acne since I was a teenager and even prescriptions from the Doctor couldn't completely get rid of it. While my skin has been much better in recent years, I still get terrible periods of bad skin. At the moment, it is horrendous. I get nodules which are extremely painful and last for weeks on my skin so I always need to get selection of heavy duty products to help conceal them. These are the four products which I always turn to when my skin is having a freak out.

MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty

I haven't had a MAC blush in years but when I spotted Danity on the Fragrance Direct website slightly discounted, I knew I had to get my hands on it. If I am ever going to splurge on some high end products, it is always going to be a lip, blush or foundation because I find them to last the longest and I feel like my money goes further!

Product of the Week #2 // MAC Prolong Wear Concealer

I have always had extremely dark under eyes and no concealer has never been able to cover them like the MAC Prolong Wear Concealer does. This concealer is my product of the week for this week and I have been absolutely loving the coverage it gives my skin. January 2016 Favourites

I am so happy to see the end of January - its been a loooong month! I have lots of new favourite products this month because I got some great beauty bits for Christmas and picked up some products for myself and I am yet to be disappointed with anything. All but one of the products are new (to me at least) which I have been using non stop over the last month, I have found some good gems here.

Makeup for Pale Skin

I have always had very pale skin and I like to avoid the sun as much as possible as I want to keep my skin well protected. Finding products, especially face products, that match and work with my skin tone is hard to find, its even harder on the high street. I have always struggled to find foundations that match, almost every single one on the high street in the lightest shade is still too dark for me. Its even harder to find a bronzer that isn't too dark so that I don't look tangoed.

Mini MAC Haul

Years ago I pretty much owned everything from MAC but as I discovered more and more brands I always forgot about how much I did like the products I tried from MAC. I decided to treat myself to three products which I had been lusting over for the longest time and I am so happy to have them in my collection. But I know I am going to end up *needing* all of the MAC lipsticks, sorry bank balance!
