October 2015 Favourites

Happy Halloween! I have loved every second of October but I am actually quite glad that the month has been and gone because you know what is next...CHRISTMAS! This month my favourites is almost all rediscoveries, I always forget about some great products because they end up at the back of my draw.

My 11 year old sister is a big make up fan, she must take after me! She sees me blogging a lot and she wrote her own little post about one of the new Makeup Revolution brushes and I thought I would post it after a few lovely people, and Makeup Revolution theirselves, had told me on Twitter that they would like to read it, enjoy!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Blend Collection

I was so excited to see Makeup Revolution had released some new makeup brushes and I couldn't wait to give them a try. I am really happy to see Makeup Revolution bring out new makeup brushes because some of the brushes even on the high street can be very pricey and these are incredible value for money. It's not often that I actually find a set of brushes that I actually use every single one of, I have brought a couple of brush sets in the past and have only used maybe one or two out of the set!

Teeth Whitening with BlanX (+Giveaway)

I love trying out new toothpastes and treatments, I am always on the hunt to find products that are going to make my teeth as white as Simon Cowells! I have been so impressed with the BlanX range, I have even got all of my family using the products too. Primark Autumn/Winter Wishlist

I am such a big Primark fan, you really can't beat the prices in there! I am going to one of the larger stores this week and I love that the Primark website actually features a selection of their new items now. I had seen Hayley (Haysparkle) had done a couple of Primark wishlists so I knew I wanted to do one myself, hopefully I can track some a couple of these bits this week!

Halloween Inspired Look

I love getting involved with Halloween, after all it is only here for one day a year! While I am not as good at doing makeup as others, I do try my best. I decided on doing a Halloween inspired face, something that I wouldn't normally wear at any other time of the year and I am very happy with how it turned out. I feel like a member of the Addams Family, I used to actually get called Wednesday at school so it seems appropriate!

If there is one thing I end up spending a fortune on besides beauty, it's american themed sweets and other goodies. I also have a little sister who watches tonnes of YouTube videos and is always wanting what they are taste testing. Taffymail might be one of the best subscription services I have ever some across, I have no idea why more companies haven't had the same idea!

You may think it's early to start talking about Christmas, if you follow me on Twitter you'll know I have been talking about Christmas since early September, but it is only two months away so it is time to get organised! I absolutely love anything personalised, there is something very special about seeing your name on things and personalised gifts are perfect for every age - you really can't go wrong.

Beauty Wishlist #36

I haven't really purchased any beauty products in a while so of course my wishlist is super long again. This week I have lots of new exciting items in my wishlist, NYX is finally available from Boots and Feel Unique which means I obviously need one of everything right?

Top Three Individual Blushes

I love blushes and I tend to spend more money on them because I find that they last the longest out of all of my beauty products so I feel like I am getting the most for my money. I don't actually have too many individual blushes in my collection because I like to have palettes so I can see all of my options in one box. However these three blushes are my favourites and if I am ever in doubt about which blush to wear I always go for one of these gorgeous shades.

Witch Overnight Clearing Serum

I have absolutely been loving Witch Skincare at the moment and this Overnight Clearing Serum might be one of the best skincare products I have tried for getting rid of blemishes and spots. I have tried so many treatments for my spots and this one has been one of the best ones. I have been using it in conjunction with the Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash, (review on this here), and my skin has never looked so good!

Scott Cornwall Precolour Protein Spray

Finding products that keep my hair hydrated can be a bit of a struggle. I put my hair through some serious damage from changing the colour regularly to washing it everyday and using far too much heat. I have never heard of a product that you use before dying your hair to help strengthen the hair and prevent any breakage so I was very excited to try out the Scott Cornwall Precolour Protein Spray.

Yankee Candle Christmas Scents 2015

I am such a big Yankee Candle fan and even more so at Christmas, I will admit that I actually start burning Yankee Candle Christmas scents from early September as they are my absolute favourites. This year there are four new scents for Christmas, Bundle Up, Winter Glow, Cosy by the Fire and Berry Trifle. There is definitely a scent for everyone with all four scents being completely different.

I love when my Libbie Club box arrives on my doorstep every month, it means its time to try out some new products and let you know about some great discounts and offers! This month's box had three products that I had never tried of and two of which were from brands I hadn't really heard too much about.

Weleda Almond Soothing Facial Oil

With the cold weather coming, it is time that I start taking better care of my skin and making sure that it well hydrated. I have never used a facial oil as part of my night time skincare routine because they have scared me little bit, I always assumed that they would leave my skin feeling oily and greasy but that isn't at all the case with this one.

Halloween Beauty Releases 2015

With only two weeks until Halloween I knew I had to share these fun beauty and lifestyle products for this occasion. I have found some fun beauty bits that are Halloween themed that I know I have to get my hands on as well as fun home pieces. As a child I wasn't really bothered about Halloween, I loved the sweets but I have always been about Christmas, but since I have gotten older I have started to love it more! I just hate having to get up every five minutes to give out sweets - anybody else?

Witch is one of my favourite skincare brands at the moment and I have been using a couple of their products in my skincare routine and I have started to notice a big improvement in my skin. The Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash is one of the products that I started using recently and I have been loving it and my skin is definitely thanking me for it.

REVIEW: Yankee Candle Candy Corn Tart

I love when Yankee Candle brings out their Christmas and Halloween collections! Candy Corn is one of this years Halloween scents from Yankee Candle, the other being Witches Brew. I was so gutted that Yankee Candle decided not to bring back Ghostly Treats this year as that was one of my favourite scents of 2014 but I was still excited to try Candy Corn and see what all of the fuss is about.

Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer

I love trying out new primers and when I saw that Soap and Glory had released one I was so excited. The One Heck of a Blot Primer is Soap and Glory's first primer and they knew exactly what they were doing! There isn't too many primers on the high street that are actually good in my opinion but this one is wonderful.

BPerfect Semi Permanent Eyebrow Kit

I absolutely love trying out new products for my brows. I have very small brows so I am always on the hunt for a product that is going to help me achieve bigger power brows without looking overly drawn on or fake looking. BPerfect is a brand that I hadn't heard too much about until recently, I had read a couple of reviews about their products and I was very excited to give the Semi Permanent Eyebrow Kit a try.

theBalm Nude 'Tude Palette + Swatches

I have wanted to get my hands on this eyeshadow palette for the longest time and I couldn't believe it when I won it in a Instagram giveaway! theBalm is a brand that I have been eyeing for the last couple of months and I can completely understand why this palette is loved by so many as it is wonderful!

Creightons No More Frizz Range

My hair can be very problematic, it can be so fizzy during these rainy Autumn months but since I have started using these three products my hair has never been so sleek. I normally don't notice that much of a difference when I switch up my shampoo and conditioner other than it might make my hair a little heavy but this shampoo and conditioner have been working amazingly on my hair and I have noticed a big difference!

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipgloss in Bare Enough

I love lip plumping glosses but until this one I had never tried one from Soap and Glory even though I have heard nothing but good things. These have recently been repackaged and I love the way they look now, they also smell incredible! I always want slightly bigger lips so finding a lipgloss that has plumping properties that work is always a bonus and so far so good!

Beauty Wishlist #35

I absolutely love this time of year! I love that all of the Christmas beauty releases start appearing online and just generally the types of products that are available at this time of the year. With Christmas slowly approaching you knew I had to include a couple of Christmassy bits - what can I say I am obsessed! I have also included a couple of non beauty items because I just loved them so much I didn't want to leave them out.

Eyes of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Palette + Swatches

It wasn't until recently that I started wearing eyeshadow on a daily basis but ever since I started all I want to do is get new eyeshadows and play around with them and create new looks. I am drawn towards warm tone shades and this palette is perfection. It is the Eyes of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Palette.

Autumn/Winter Jacket Wishlist

With the cooler weather set to hit the UK next week, I need to get my hands on a couple of jackets asap! I have been doing so much online window shopping and have found some great Women's Jackets finds but I cannot decide which ones to get! Let me know which one if your favourite and hopefully it will help me decide which one or two to order.

Benefit Real Cheeky Party Kit

the best purchase I made last year was the Benefit Blush Palette so I was so excited to see that they have another one in this years Christmas Collection. The theme of this years collection from Benefit is Parties and all of the packaging of the gift sets is incredible - Benefit always have some of the best packaging! This years blush palette is slightly different to last years but I do really like the changes they have made and the products that they have included.

Ole Henriksen 3 Little Wonders Gift Set

Ole Henriksen is a skincare brand that I have been wanting to try for the longest time and this 3 Little Wonders Set is the perfect way to try a couple of the products out to see if you like them before purchasing the full sizes. Taking care of your skin is one of the most important things you can do, you can have all of the nicest make up in the world but if you don't take care of your skin first they products aren't going to look as good as they could do on your skin.

Beauty Advent Calendars 2015

I know this might seem a little bit early to start posting about Christmas but it is less than 3 months away now! A couple of these gorgeous advent calendars will be going on sale later this month and they will definitely be selling out quickly! If you are a beauty fan like I am opening a little door everyday until Christmas sounds incredible. There is one for every price range starting at just £12. Most of these are makeup ones but I had to include a couple of candle ones too because I am obsessed with candles as much as I am with beauty.

Soap and Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Sculpting Crayon & Setting Gel

When it comes to my eyebrows I need all the help I can get. They are quite small, which don't really grow, and when you have a big head they look even smaller. I had been using the same products on my brows for well over a year now but I have finally switched it up and I am so happy that I did! This product has made such a massive improvement to my eyebrows and I am already obsessed.

SKINeffect Intensive Anti-Ageing Face Cream

While I don't need to be using any anti-ageing products yet it is always good to start preventing wrinkles. My mum loves trying out new skincare so I thought I would put this SKINeffect Intensive Anti-Ageing Face Cream to the test from two different perspectives with different skin issues and different skin types.

September 2015 Favourites

I am so happy to see the end of September, I find it to be such a pointless month just give me Halloween and Christmas already! This month I only have four beauty favourites to share with you but they are such good finds so I thought it would still be wroth doing a favourites this month. I also have a non-beauty favourite that I have to share with you all because I am literally obsessed with it!
