It wasn't until recently that I started wearing eyeshadow on a daily basis but ever since I started all I want to do is get new eyeshadows and play around with them and create new looks. I am drawn towards warm tone shades and this palette is perfection. It is the Eyes of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Palette.
Swatched: Enigma Myst, Chalice Bronze, Sacred Husk
Eyes of Horus is an Australian brand of cosmetics. Having tried a couple of their products in the past I have always been very impressed and this palette is no different. Eyes of Horus products are not tested on animals, are paraben free and have natural ingredients.
The Isis Sun Goddess Palette is made up of three shades. Enigma Mist, which is the lightest shade, a beautiful soft pink perfect for the inner corner or as a highlight. Chalice Bronze is a golden bronze shade, I have worn this in the crease and on the lid and love it both ways. Finally in this palette is Sacred Husk, my favourite shade from this palette, which is a golden brown shade. All three of the eyeshadows have such a stunning metallic finish. These shadows can be applied wet or dry so they can be transformed a full intensity finish, even when applied dry they have great pigmentation. These eyeshadows are so soft which makes them so easy to apply.
The packaging is really lovely. The palette itself is very compact and would take up hardly any space in your makeup bag if you took it on holiday or travelling. There is also a decent size mirror inside the palette so you could definitely do your eye makeup on the go. The palette is matte black with such a stunning gold foil for the writing and the illustration.
Each of the eyeshadows are incredibly soft and so easy to apply. I have applied these shadows with multiple different brushes as well as my fingers and always get such a nice colour pay off. I have been using just this palette for my eye makeup everyday and I have been really enjoying it. I use Enigma Myst in my inner conner, Sacred Husk on my lid and Chalice Bronze in the crease. I was so impressed with how long lasting these shadows are! I apply these at 5am at even at 9pm they still look pretty great without any creasing, melting off or transferring.
The Eyes of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Palette retails for £22.50 and is available at Beauty Bay - link.
