For my birthday, most of my friends and family gave me money because i had no idea what to ask for and asking for things always makes me feel a little awkward. So on my birthday i went shopping and this is part one of my birthday shopping hauls. I picked up a few beauty items which i am so excited to finally have! Some of these products i picked up just before my birthday because i was too inpatient to wait to go to the shops and get them so i ordered them online! Lets get into the haul...

Teeez Desert Metals Mascara Review

When i signed up for the You Beauty Discovery Box, I knew instantly what I wanted to try! I am a mascara junkie, I don't ever have enough mascaras and I just love trying them out so when i saw this on the February short-list I was pretty excited for it to arrive. I have never heard of the Teeez brand, i'm pretty sure it is Dutch from what I have read online.

When the box arrived, if you want to see what else I got this month you can check that out here, I thought I was going to hate this mascara from looking at the brush, I love plastic wands and anything else just doesn't seem to work for my lashes but I think this mascara has changed that!

Good Things 5 Minute Face Mask | Review

I have been having a few problems with my skin lately which im pretty sure is down to the crappy weather in the UK so i had been on the hunt to find some products that would help sort my horrible skin out. When i saw this as a very treat (a free gift with order when you spend x amount) i knew i had to give this face mask a try! This is the Good Things Five Minute Facial Face Mask with super fruit extracts of Avocado and Goji Berry. Woah, that was a mouth full, one of the main things that attracted me to want to try this is that it is free from Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Mineral Oils and Animal Ingredients and is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians which is always a bonus.

Happy Valentine's Day!

With it being my birthday in 4 days,i can't believe in 4 days time i will no longer be a teenager, i thought i was only right to share some of the beauty items i am planning on picking up on my birthday when i go shopping! I blame blogs and QVC for some of these things, i am one of those girls who can sit and watch QVC beauty shows all day and my favourite is the Benefit Cosmetics ones, it makes me want to buy everything! Here is what i am planning on picking up on my birthday....

You Beauty Discovery Box | February 2014

During a #bbloggers chat, i saw someone mention that glamglow was in the shortlist for this months You Beauty Discovery Box so i headed on over to the website and ordered my first box! Although i had some problems with the delivery and took over a week to recieve it, i won't be cancelled my subscription any time soon!

The box itself comes with two preselected samples for you to try and then you get to pick two from a shortlist of 10 for £6.95 a month with P&P included. One of the main reasons i decided on subscribing to You Beauty is because of the price, it is almost half the price of most beauty boxes on the market and with those ones you don't even get to pick a sample or two to try!

Valentine's Day Nail Inspiration

Although i may hate Valentine's Day, like many other single ladies, one thing i do love about it is the cuteness of nails and some of the clothes you can get! I love the colours and all the chocolate just not the day itself. Through many hours of scrolling through pinterest i have found some of the most beautiful nail art for Valentines Day, none of these are my own, i'm not very good at doing nail art but i wish i was good at it! I love doing my nails all festive whenever there is a holiday at any time of the year and i think i will attempt one or two of these designs this year, wish me luck! Here are some of my favourite nail art designs for this year...

Fuss Free Glasses | SPECSPOST REVIEW

As a daily glasses wearer it does get expensive, having eye tests, picking the frames and paying for the lenses. When Specspost's got in contact and asked if i wanted to review their home trial service*, i was sold on the idea! Specspost is an online prescription glasses retailer based in Manchester with over 1200 different glasses frames to choose from, anything from designer frames to the affordable ones! Getting your glasses online can be up to 70% cheaper than getting them on the high street! Specspost let me pick three different frames to review and im so happy with the ones i decided on but i need your help on which ones to pick for everyday wear!

How Specspost Works..

You pick upto three frame styles you like, pay a deposit and the postage costs, i love this idea because it allows you to wear them for a while to see how comfortable they are and what your friends and family think of the different frames. Once you have decided on the frames you would like, you send all the frames back with the form included inside with the frames you have chosen and your prescription and pay the full amount! If you don't like any of the frames you has chosen, you simply return the frames and specspost will return the deposit.
