Katy Perry Collection for Claires

Katy Perry is my favourite person on the planet. I have loved her since 2008 just before she went massive with I Kissed A Girl. I just generally love everything about her, her hair, her music, her fashion and beauty looks, basically everything (I'm trying my best to not fan girl here) so when I heard she had a collection coming out at Claires I got super excited. I haven't actually shopped at Claires since I was younger but by the looks of this collection, I will defiantly be making a few purchases! What makes me even more excited for this collection is that it is getting released a couple of weeks before I am off to The o2 with my little sister to see her live so I will have to make a little purchase of some bits to wear when I go to see her perform.

Here are some of my favourite pieces from the upcoming collection...

April 2014 Favourites

This month, I have found myself falling in love with some old favourites and some brand new products (to me anyway). Some months I find it hard to think of what I have been loving that month but this month was a no brainer. A couple of this months favourites were purchased in my Westfield Stratford haul so you can have a little read of that first! Here is this months beauty favourites..

Review: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are one of those beauty products that everybody thinks of when you think of the brand and everybody wants to try them. I don't think I have ever heard a bad review of these and having tried them I completely understand why. I have the shades, Lavender and French Fries. These pencils retail for £5 each are are properly the best £10 spent on a beauty product so far and here is why I love them..

Review: Maybelline Colour Elixir

When I did my swap back at the beginning of March with Rosina, I knew a couple of things I had to try that aren't available in the UK yet and ever since I heard EssieButton rave about these, I knew I had to try them. This is the Maybelline Colour Elixir in 010 Celestial Coral and I am in love with it. Totally gutted these are available in the UK yet as I want to go out and purchase every other shade!

Review: Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Mascara

Last month when I did a swap with Rosina, I was so excited when I saw she had sent me this. The UK great lash mascara is awful and the wand is completely different to this one. BeautyBaby44 says this is her favourite drugstore mascara and I completely understand why, Rosina also loves it too so even before I had tried it and she had told me she loved it, I knew I was going to love it too. The only downside to this mascara is that you can't get your hands on it here in the UK, they have a couple on eBay so I might repurchase from there but Ro has already said she will send me another when we do another swap in a couple of months!

Forever 21 Wishlist

Ever since I went into the Forever 21 in Westfield Stratford a couple of weeks ago, I have found myself browsing their website quite a bit. I find their stores to be quite overwhelming because they are so massive and have so much stock so its defiantly a calmer experience for me to browse online. I love so much from Forever 21 and have done for years and lately they are just killing it with how much great stuff they have, I just want everything which isn't good for my bank balance. Here is what is I am currently lusting over...

Spring Evening Skincare Routine

If you saw my Spring Morning Skincare Routine, you will know that I recently changed up my skincare for the warmer weather because I don't like to pile on the products when its hot as it just doesn't do my skin any favours. I have quite problematic skin, sometimes its so dry that it flakes off, other times its quite oily. And on top of that, I suffer from acne which I try and keep under control with a prescription but sometimes it breaks free and says hello. The products I have been using lately are the perfect combo and I have had lovely clear skin for a couple of weeks.

Summery Scents

In the warmer months I tend to not wear perfume. I sometimes don't want a really heavy scent and because its warmer, I tend to get a bit sticky and want a freshen up during the day which is where these sprays come in. I have been buying these for about two years now and they are the Victoria's Secret Fragrances Mists, before I was using these I was a big Hollister Spray lover. Every time I have been to VS there is always a deal on, currently I believe it to be 5 for £30 across the whole body care line so go get you some!

Victorias Secret Body Sprays

Effortless Lip Combo

Lately, I have been loving effortless lips. As much as I love my Revlon Lacquer Balms and how easy they are, some days I want something that is going to last all day and that I don't need a mirror to reapply and that is where this lip combo comes in. Ever since I purchased a little Benefit kit the other week, I have been using Posietint everyday and I have fallen in love with it.

Spring Morning Skincare Routine

During the warmer months, I don't like to put too much onto my skin and I don't actually think my skin needs thousands of products being applied on it morning and evening. As the weather has gotten warmer I decided to have a slight change up with my skincare products and I think I have finally found the perfect combination of products for my mornings. Most mornings I am in a hurry to get ready because I always want that extra ten minutes in bed so I needed products that didn't need too much fuss and didn't take too long to apply.

Review: Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks

Ever since I saw that these were released in the States, I couldn't wait for them to launch over here and they finally have. When I headed into Westfield last week and popped into boots, I knew I had to pick a couple of shades up! I picked up Sand (Pearl), Oyster (Metallic) and Purple (Matte), these retail for £2.99 each and are currently on 3 for 2 in Boots so if you want to get your hands on them, now is the time. What really attracted me to these shadows is that you can create your own palettes as they click together, I hate single eye shadows but I love the idea of being able to customise your own palette.

Spring Clothing Wishlist

With the weather being lovely on almost a daily basis it means only one thing for me, I need new clothes (any excuse right?). ASOS has pretty much become a daily browse and my saved items list is getting longer and longer by the minute so I thought I would share some of the items that I am lusting over at the moment for the Spring/Summer season.

A big hello to everyone who follows Hannah's blog, I'm here today to do a little guest post telling you all about some of my favourite Spring/Summer nail polishes. I'm Shona, a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger from Hertfordshire, I'll leave my link for you all at the end of th…

Easter Nail Art Inspiration

Easter is properly one of my favourite times of year, I love the pastel colours of everything and of course all the chocolate. I love do try and match my nails to the time of year so Easter is no different. Even though I suck at nail art I always try and see if I can get good at it, I still haven't sadly. None of these nail art designs are my own because I suck but while browsing Pinterest, I found all of these amazing ones and there will be a link at the end of the post if you want to check out all of the designs individually and more.

Review: La Roche- Posay Effaclar Micellar Water

It seems like very brand these days has a Micellar Water which makes me want to try every one out there to see which one is the best and how similar they are. So when I saw that La Roche-Posay had a Micellar Water* I knew I had to try it out! This micellar water is from the Effaclar range for oily and sensitive skin to clarify, cleanse and sooth the skin. Something that is great about this specific micellar water is that it is free of parabens, alcohol and colourants.

Westfield Stratford Haul

On Friday I went into London for the day to see Boyce Avenue, which were amazing but I wont go into too much detail about the guys as I am going to do a separate post about the gig on my lifestyle blog so keep an eye out for that! Before my friend and I headed off to the o2 for the gig, we decided to shop at Westfield Stratford so I thought I would share the goodies that I purchased and 90% off the items were beauty related...opps!

Matte Lips + Swatches

The matte lip trend has been around for a while now and I can't really see it going anywhere and personally I love it. Not only do all of the matte lip products that I have tried have great colour pay off, they all last a super long time, even though eating and drinking (a bonus in my book!). I used to hate any kind of lip product that wasn't a balm and I always put it down to the stickiness and super glossy look which I don't really like so these are like heaven for me.

Beauty Wishlist #5

There are so many beauty products that I *need* to get my hands on which is why I have yet another beauty wishlist! Some things are new releases and some are items that I have been hearing such great things about lately so I just need to try them out, for the blog of course ;)! I haven't really been buying any make up lately so some of these items may end up getting purchased very, very soon!

My Go To Blushes

Blushes are one of my favourite beauty products to purchase. I feel like besides lips, they can completely change your look, whether you go for a more natural blush or a more intense one. I always try and remember to apply my blush last so that it doesn't clash with my lips or eye look that day/evening. Here are my current go to blushes..

Review: Nivea Micellar Cleansing Water

It seems as if very high street brand is releasing Micellar Waters lately and Nivea is no different. I like to try them all in hopes that they will be similar or a dupe for Bioderma as I can't justify £10 on one bottle. This 200ml bottle retails for around the £4 mark however I picked it up for £1.99 in Tesco! This water also states that it is free of parabens, colours and perfumes.

Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette + Swatches

When I got chatting to Rosina about what we wanted for our swap, I knew what was on the top of my list, the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Palette. Having heard such great things about this palette, I knew I had to get my hands on it and see what all the hype was about. I have fallen in love and here is why...

Lip Focus: EOS

I am the biggest lip balm lover in the world. I have been on the hunt for the best lip balm on the market and I have found them. EOS Lip Balms are the loves in my life and I cannot get enough of them. Last year I spent a stupid amount for an EOS Lip Balm from eBay, in mint, and it was love at first application. So when Rosina and I decided to do a swap I knew I had to get my hands on a couple more.

You Beauty Discovery Box April 2014

This subscription beauty box just keeps getting better and better every month so I was super excited to make my picks, so I woke up extra early to get the best choices. Although when my box arrived, I found that one of the preselected items was missing but the lovely people on their Twitter is getting that sent out to me this week and as It was only a sachet I thought I would still go ahead and post it today without it! The product that hasn't arrived yet is one from The Organic Pharmacy which is one of the two preselected items.

Review: EOS Shave Cream

EOS is one of those brands that is a bit difficult to get hold of in the UK so when I did my swap with Rosina, I knew I had to try some EOS products and she mentioned that she loved this so I knew I had to give it a go. EOS products can be pretty expensive when you can get hold of them in England, I know on eBay is exact product goes for £7.99 when in the states it is $3.99! I wish I lived in the States!

Foundation Focus

Foundation is one of those beauty products that can either be completely amazing and you find the perfect shade or you can end up looking so orange with a cakey face - not a good look! Foundation is especially hard to find a good one for me as I am quite pale every month apart from about July to September so to find the right shade is sometimes impossible, mainly on the high street. Many foundations everyone loves and raves about I can't try as they don't go light enough or they are to pink toned which is kind of crappy. Some of these foundations I have completely fallen in love with and loves I cannot stand so its going to be a very mixed foundation reviews which hopefully you will find helpful.

March Empties 2014

This month I made it my mission to use up as many products as I could as I am not letting myself purchase any more beauty products until I use up some of what I have already and I think I did pretty well! I actually used up a few make up products which is good for me because I hardly ever use any up. I used up a few hair products too and they normally take me forever to use up! Here is this months empties...

Review: La Roche-Posay Rosaliac CC Cream | Hannah Heartss

I have quite a lot of redness on my face, mainly around my nose and chin so when I heard about the La Roche- Posay CC Cream*, I knew I had to try it and I'm so glad I did! This CC Cream comes in one universal shade which takes away all of the fuss away from trying to pick a shade! It also has SPF 30 so it will be great for the Summer months, I'm going to try and save some for festival season as it will be perfect.
