June 2016 Favourites

I must say this every month but 2016 is really flying by isn't it - before we know it it will be Christmas again! This month I have been loving so many products that it was difficult to narrow it down! I rediscovered some old loves and found some new loves - I am kicking myself for not trying these products sooner!

Beauty Wishlist #40

I have been lusting over so many beauty products that I had to share my current wishlist! If you have reviews on anything I have featured please link me (not that I really need enabling haha). June 2016 Degustabox

I love the days that my Degustabox gets delivered! This months Degustabox is the BBQ Box and if you have never heard bout Degustabox before, it is a subscription service when each month you recieve a box of surprise food and drink items. I have always been impressed with my boxes and find that they are a great way to try new things, I have found so many favourites from my boxes!

Best of the Budget Contour Kits

I will be the first one to say that I am rubbish at contouring but these three kits have helped introduce me to this makeup technique. I don't like to spend a lot of money on products that I know I won't use that often so I wanted to experiment with budget contouring kits before I invested in a higher end option. Honestly I have no need to buy a more expensive one as these three kits do a fantastic job!

Holiday Beauty Essentials

It seems everyone is off on holiday and I am super jealous! I am hopefully going away for a week or so before the end of the year but that is just too far away and I get too excited about holiday beauty products! I love everything that is travel size so of course I buy my favourite products in the mini size where possible. These are my must have products for holiday or for any hot days in England.

How to Introduce Coconut in Your Beauty Routine

I have always known that coconut oil is incredibly good for you to cook with but I never knew how good it was within the beauty world! I have always seen people talk about coconut oil but I had no idea how to use it for beauty benefits but I have been putting it to the test and I have become obsessed with coconut oil - why didn't I use it sooner?!

Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation

When it comes to foundations I am extremely picky! There are only a couple of foundations which I would class as being a must have in my makeup bag and this new one from Vichy has reached that status. The reason I am so picky is because I like a full coverage with it leaving the skin feeling lightweight and not being cakey, the only other foundations I like besides this is the original Vichy Dermablend foundation as well as the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - if you know of any foundations I might like please let me know!

Zoella Bath Latte Review

I must admit that while I may not be a huge fan of Zoe's videos anymore but I did get very excited about her new range! The packaging has had a huge step up and I think it is much more suitable for my age now rather than 13 year olds - although I am sure they still love it! I have loved her previous beauty products and I had my eyes on the Bath Latte and I have been quite impressed.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Nectarine Blossom Fragrance

I have been loving trying out products from Elizabeth Arden recently and I couldn't wait to try some of the Green Tea Nectarine Blossom Collection. There are three products in the collection along side this gorgeous Eau de Toilette Spray, the Body Cream and Shower Gel. All of these products would be perfect for summer or any up coming holidays.

Summer Must Haves with P.A.M (Precious About Makeup)

I first heard about P.A.M (Precious About Makeup) from British Beauty Blogger when she mentioned that they stock Make Up For Ever - which used to be so hard to get hold of in the UK. P.A.M was created back in 1996 by makeup artists for makeup artists and stocks a great range of beauty products, there is so much to choose from on the site - they even have a store in London.

Sinful Colours Kylie Jenner Nail Polishes (+ Swatches)

I wasn't all that fussed when I heard about these nail polishes being released but when I saw them in store I knew I needed a few in my collection. Since this first collection has launched Kylie and Sinful Colours have already launched a new collection of finishes and shades with even more to come! These three shades stood out to me the most as the others were a bit of the same shades already on the market.

My Jolie Candle Review

I love candles and jewellery separately so when the two come together I get so excited. My Jolie Candle was founded my two young french men with the main objective of making women smile by proposing an inexpensive but exciting gift. As you burn the candle it reveals a little package with a hidden piece of jewellery inside making this the perfect present for anyone who loves candles in your life.

I have been hearing nothing but good things about Jurlique skincare so I was excited to introduce some new products to my morning (and sometimes evening) skincare routine. My skin can be senstive at times but these two products have been the perfect additions to my skincare routine and my skin has been so happy since I started using them.

Seventeen is a brand that I have been trying out a lot recently and I have been obsessed with this eye shadow palette. I had been on the look out for a budget palette for the summer months which I could take on holiday with this me and I have been using this palette every day since it arrived!

Avene Hydrance Skin Tone Perfector

I had been on the look out for a new base product for the summer months that would be lightweight on the skin while giving a light coverage for my good skin days. Avene is one of my favourite skincare brands so I couldn't wait to start using their newest product, the Hydrating Skin Tone Perfector.

La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Face Mist SPF 50

While everyone is raving about the Bioderma SPF Facial Mist, I am here to rave about the La Roche Posay version - I honestly don't know why nobody is talking about this one yet! Now that the warmer weather has finally arrived in the UK, it is so important to keep your skin well protected from the sun and this product has become an essential in my handbag.

Seventeen Skin WOW! Concealer

I am very fussy when it comes to concealing my under eyes as I like a product to be brightening while having a medium to high coverage and to be light weight on the skin. And this concealer is just that! I have heard that this is a dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat which I have and I am not really a fan of, this concealer from Seventeen is a thousand times better than the YSL and it is so much more affordable!

Clarins Perfect Beauty Essentials Set

I haven't had the chance to try out many products from Clarins until recently when I recieved this set and I have been really enjoying trying out the different products. This set is such a bargain so if you will be going through the airport soon, make sure you head into World Duty Free to find this mega deal set!

Essence Lash Princess Mascara // Product of the Week #5

Its time for a another product of the week with Sarah from Blogs Vlogs Etc - check out her blog post here! Essence is one of my favourite budget makeup brands at the moment, you can find their products in Wilko and they are so cheap but great quality! I have been trying out a few different products from the brand for a couple of months now and I had heard nothing but good things about the Lash Princess Mascara. So I knew I had to get my hands on it and it hasn't failed me yet - I totally understand the hype around this mascara!

Iconic London is a fairly new brand to me and I have been so impressed with everything I have tried so far, you might have seen my brush favourites on Ree's site - link here. I have been loving this Complete 9 Piece Face Set and using the brushes pretty much every day since. If you are looking for a new brush set, this face set is for you!

Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Treatment Primer

Blow drying my hair is such a chore, I have such long and thick hair that it takes forever! I also wash my hair everyday otherwise I end up picking and pulling at the ends of my hair so it is actually better to just wash my hair everyday to keep it in good condition. I was so excited to try out my first Redken hair product and I have been super impressed already!

Models Own recently launched over 500 beauty products all with the theme of colour and to not ever be boring with makeup! As Models Own is very affordable it is the perfect opportunity to try out some new shades and products than you would normally go for and I for one have been loving it - who doesn't want fun coloured eyeshadow in their collection!

I have been on such a skincare kick recently and have found myself buying more skincare than makeup which never happens! I will admit that I used to be very lazy with my skincare, I would cleanse but that is about it! I have never been so excited for a brow collection as I was with this new collection from Benefit. Tangle Teezer Lemon Sherbet Salon Elite

I have such long hair which is very thick and is an absolute pain to manage! I have been using Tangle Teezers for the past few years and I cannot use anything else to brush my hair now. If I try and use a standard hair brush it is the most painful experience and I just can't use it - if you don't have a tangle teezer, stop what your doing and go order one, you'll thank me later.

New In from Ted Baker

I have been a long time fan of Ted Baker and I have always loved their body products. Both of these items would make incredible gifts for anyone who loves beauty, one of the sets comes in gorgeous packaging too. Ted Baker know exactly what they are doing with their packaging as it is absolutely stunning and I have to keep the products out on display!

I have tried a couple of products from the Sexy Hair range previously and I was super excited to try out some of the Healthy Sexy Hair products. I am always the hunt for products that are going to help keep my hair looking in the best condition possible while adding shine and softest back into my hair as I put it through quite a bit of damage.

With the Sun finally making an appearance it is time to warm up my extremely pale skin. Does anyone else with pale skin find your skin blinds people in the sun because mine certainly does! The Temple Spa Goldentini Body Oil is a new product to the brand and is going to be perfect for the summer months.

Facial SPF Must Haves

I am one of those people who will not step out into the sun without having SPF all over me, especially on my face. It annoys me so much when people don't wear SPF because they want a 'tan', I would much rather prefer to look after my skin and use fake tan than get sun burnt. These are the four facial SPF's which I always use, especially when I know I am going to be out in the sun all day.

I love trying out new hair masques as I do put my hair through some damage from daily heat styling and colour treatments every month or so. I hadn't heard of Ogario before but I am so glad I decided to try out one of their products as I have been so impressed - my hair has been feeling amazing!

You know when you wanted something already and then Jaclyn Hill says she loves it then you need it in your life immediately - this is that product! And then one of my favourite YouTubers, Nicole at Young Wild and Polished mentioned it on snapchat and I brought it and haven't looked back! Thank you Sleek for creating such a beautiful highlighting palette - I am obsessed!

Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge

I am such a big Roger and Gallet fan but I until recently I hadn't tried many of the other scents apart from the Fleur de Figuier so I was excited to give the Gingembre Rouge scent a try! Roger and Gallet have a great range of fragrances and body care with a few different scents available, I highly recommend the hand balms as well as the body balms if you are new to the brand!

Divine Chocolate

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of chocolate - am I right? Divine Chocolate is a brand that I first tried from one of my Degustaboxes and I fell in love with the stuff! So I have been trying out a few of the different bars from Divine Chocolate and I definitely have a favourite which I may or may not have eaten in about 20 seconds - opps!

I have been obsessed with the new releases from Barry M recently, you might have seen my review on the lip oils about how much I love those! But today I am here to talk about these limited edition polishes which I have been wearing non stop since I picked them up.

I am a huge fan of witch skincare and found their products to be some of the best to keep spots away on a budget. I was super excited to see that witch have launched the Daily Primer & Clearing Serum as it is the product I have been waiting for! There aren't many primers on the high street that are good for spot prone skin.

Colourpop Haul

Last month I placed a Colourpop order and it was the longest two weeks ever waiting for my makeup to arrive! Colourpop currently don't ship to the UK and I have no idea why because the demand is clearly there, I will link the posts about how I ship Colourpop to the UK at the end of this post if you are interested. Kylie Cosmetics and Colourpop are owned by the same company, Seed Beauty, and seeing as Kylie Cosmetics ships to the UK I don't think it will be long before Colourpop do too.

Recent Purchases (with the Octer App)

I have been feeling a little spendy recently and I have been obsessed with the Octer app (I will talk more about that at the end of this post). I picked up two things that I usually wouldn't have purchased for myself as I don't like to spend too much money (yet I can buy all the lipsticks and not have an issue). I have been eyeing the Quay Sunglasses for months now and I am so excited to finally have my own pair!
