Holiday Beauty Essentials

It seems everyone is off on holiday and I am super jealous! I am hopefully going away for a week or so before the end of the year but that is just too far away and I get too excited about holiday beauty products! I love everything that is travel size so of course I buy my favourite products in the mini size where possible. These are my must have products for holiday or for any hot days in England.
Holiday Beauty Essentials
SPF is my most important product for the summer and for holidays as I like to keep my skin well protected from sun damage and I hate getting burnt - how do people not wear suncream?! It blows my mind sometimes. The La Roche Posay Anthelios range is one of my all time favourites for SPF and the newest addition in my travel bag is the Comfort Cream SPF 50+ which I actually managed to pick up for £2.50 in Boots on clearance! This SPF is what I use on my face whenever I know I am going to be in the sun for extended periods of time. The main reason I love this line is that it is one of the only SPF lines for the face that doesn't flare up my acne. The Piz Buin Protect & Cool SPF is a new product from the brand and I am beyond obsessed with it! I like to use this as my SPF to reapply throughout the day as it has a cooling effect which is amazing to refresh the skin when you get too hot in the summer.

For makeup on holiday I tend to keep it as simple as possible and the Yes to Grapefruit CC Cream is my go to base to add a light coverage and even out my skin tone imperfections. As I have had acne for many years I have a lot of discolouration and scarring and this does a great job at evening out my skin leaving it looking natural. During the hot days my skin gets extremely oily so the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is an essential to prolong my makeup. I spritz this onto the face after applying my makeup and it makes a huge difference - it will last until I remove it! For travelling I like to use my Tarte Energy Noir Palette as it has so many products in a sleek compact. It has a blush, highlighter and a selection of eyeshadows which you can create day time or evening looks. All of the shades are extremely pigmented and apply and blend like a dream.

When I spend time in the sun my skin gets uncomfortably dry and the E45 Intense Recovery Spray Moisturiser is the perfect product to keep my skin soft and hydrated. I love that this comes in a spray as it makes it so much easier and quicker to apply. The Avene Thermal Water Spray is an essential in my handbag and even more so on holiday - it even has a gorgeous design with the new limited edition packaging! This is great to refresh the face throughout the day and it also is soothing for sunburn in those rare occasions that I do get burnt. I have tried a couple of different water sprays and Avene always comes out on top and this little 50ml size is only £3 which is a bargain!
