I have been on such a skincare kick recently and have found myself buying more skincare than makeup which never happens! I will admit that I used to be very lazy with my skincare, I would cleanse but that is about it! But this year I have been all about skincare and thought I would pick up a few new products to try out.
The first thing I picked up was one of two products that I am super excited to try out, the massively hyped Pixi Glow Tonic. I had a tiny sample of this last year and I was super impressed with how great it made my skin look so I thought it was time to pick up the full size bottle. I am waiting until I have used up my current toner and it is killing me because I can't wait to use this! When I used the tiny sample that I had, it lasted about a week, my skin had looked its best so fingers crossed it will make my skin look amazing again!
My acne has been back with force recently so I picked up a couple of products from Escentual which will hopefully keep my skin clear. The first one was a repurchase of the La Roche Posay Serozinc, I went for the baby travel size as I have far too many products that I am trying to use up! I have had a full size bottle of this for a couple of months but I ran out so I knew I needed to pick up another. This keeps my skin oily free and helps keep my acne under control, I like to use this before I apply my makeup. I also picked up some Tea Tree Oil from Superdrug as nothing has been helping with my acne so I am hoping this will do the trick! While I was on the Superdrug website I spotted the Simple Deep Cleansing Face Mask, I have always been a big fan of Simple skincare as it is super gentle on the skin. I haven't tried any face masks from Simple before so if this is good I will report back soon!
The final skincare product, I picked up was the La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 50 Mist, I was so excited when I spotted this on the Escentual website that I actually preordered it! This is such an exciting product as facial SPF mists are starting to reach the UK and I had been wanting to try the Bioderma version as that is all everyone is talking about but this one from La Roche Posay actually has a higher SPF which is why I decided to go for this one. This is going to be a must have in my handbag to spritz on the face throughout the day to make sure I am well protected from the sun.
Have you picked up any new skincare lately?
