October 2016 Beauty Favourites

It's slowly getting close to my favourite time of the year - Christmas!! I pretty much get into full Christmas mode from the 1st of November (my festive bedding will be going on tomorrow) and these are my favourites from the past month of October. A few of them are Christmas launches which I am so excited to share as I have been loving them.

Bodymonth Subscription Box

Bodymonth are one of the newer subscription services on the block and this has to be one of the most useful ones to subscribe to as it actually has all products that you will use! I find that with a lot of subscription boxes that you end up not using half the samples included but with this I can actually use each one, it's more of an essentials box rather than a sample service I would say.

La Roche Posay 3 Step Toleriane System

I am a huge fan of La Roche Posay and the Effaclar line is the main reason why my acne has cleared up as much as it has! But I do have slightly sensitive skin which does react easily to certain products and the Toleriane line is a perfect match for my skin.

Beauty Wishlist #44

It wishlist just keeps on growing and growing, after all - it is the best time of year for Beauty releases! There are so many exciting new launches and gift sets which I just have to get my hands on, goodbye money, see you never! All of these products are fairly new or very new launches so might find something you want too.

Too Faced Merry Macarons Palette (+ Swatches)

I think it's safe to say that I am obsessed with this years Too Faced Christmas collection. I have previously reviewed and swatched the festive lip set, Merry Kissmas - Review HERE and now it's time to talk about this beauty! As soon as I saw this was coming out, I knew I had to get my hands on it so as soon as I spotted it on the Debenhams website, I clicked checkout with no regrets.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Liners & Mascara

Everybody seems to be loving these products at the moment and I am a little on the fence. While they are good products, I am not sure if they are as fantastic as everyone is making out, this is just my person opinion. I am very fussy when it comes to lashes and liner so I am a very tough critic!

I always enjoy getting my Degustabox each month and this is another great box from the company! There are some exciting items in this months box that I just couldn't wait to tuck in to! Prosecco Scented Candle

I am obsessed with candles and all things Prosecco so when these two combine, it makes me stupidly happy! I never knew they did a Prosecco candle but now I have this in my life, I know I will have to repurchase again soon. If you know someone who loves Prosecco, this would be the perfect little Christmas gift with a bottle.

Ted Baker's Christmas products are always some of my favourites and these cute little baubles are the perfect secret Santa secret, stocking filler or a little something extra to gift this Christmas. These would also be great to keep in the cupboard in case someone pops round this holiday season and you have forgotten to get them a gift - we have all been there!

Elemental Herbology are a new brand that I have been recently introduced to and I have been really enjoying trying out these products. I am always looking for new and exciting skin and body care products as they are products that can really make a difference to your skin.

Whenever I am in Sainsburys I always check out the Dirty Works products as I always find them to be good for the price tag. I have been obsessed with all of the Christmas gift sets this year and Dirty Works have some great affordable options from gift sets to an advent calendar and even beauty crackers. I know I have to get some of the crackers for Christmas Day as my Mum and Sister would love those!

Everyone is talking about coffee scrubs at the moment so I had to jump on the bandwagon and give one a try! One of the main ones that I always hear about is Bean Body which are available from Holland and Barrett. One of the main reasons I wanted to give this a try is because I have heard how much better they are than a usual body scrub and all it really is, is grounded coffee!

Orla Kiely Mini Candle Gift Set

I am almost as obsessed with candles as I am with makeup! I love when Christmas gift sets begin to be released as there are always some great deals on gifting and I would have to say that this is definitely worth the price tag! I am not often super impressed with candles in terms of scent kick off as I am very fussy but these are incredible.

Lancome x Sonia Rykiel Favourites

I have been really enjoying Lancome products in the past couple of months and the Sonia Rykiel collaboration is such a fun collection. I personally hadn't heard of Sonia Rykiel but I am glad Lancome has introduced me as now I love the stuff! These two products are from the Fall Makeup Collection.

It's time for a throwback with Elizabeth Arden! It seems for Autumn/Winter that it is all going to be about throwing it back to the nineties with dark and bolder lips than ever! This is the perfect lipstick to switch up your makeup for the Autumn and still be on trend.

This Christmas collection from Too Faced is by far my favourite this year and this set is a great gift for any makeup lover. I had never tried any of the lip products from Too Faced so this set was perfect to try out a few and it's at a great price point as well.

Smashbox LIGHT IT UP: Primer Set

Smashbox are one of those brands that I always hear good things about but personally have never tried. I have had the Photofinish primer on my wishlist for well over a year so when I spotted this gift set in Boots, I basically threw it in my basket and headed to the till with no regrets.

NEW Roger & Gallet Skincare

It's no secret how much of a fan I am of Roger and Gallet. So when I heard about the brand launching facial skincare products, they immediately caught my attention! In particular I knew I had to try out these two products as they sounded like something my skin was in need for.

Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her! Eau de Parfum

I had never heard of this brand before but this fragrance has very quickly become a favourite. It isn't something I would usually go for but I have been so impressed with it and I have had compliments on it every time I have worn it so it seems like great fragrance pick!

Lush Christmas 2016 Haul

The night I spotted this on the website the day before release day..I went a little crazy. Christmas is Lush to me and it pretty much the only time I really shop in Lush so I pretty much ordered everything I wanted at the time as I had put money aside for this. Since making this rather large order...I already have a cart full of products I wished I picked up so expect another haul in the next couple of weeks/month!

Top Picks from the KIKO Neo Noir Collection

This year, I have really discovered my love for KIKO. Before this year, I had only tried out their nail polishes but their makeup is where it's at. This new collection from KIKO had my name all over it and in true KIKO style, it has gorgeous yet simple packaging, KIKO always package their products so well in my opinion.

Remington Keratin Radiance 38mm Hair Tong

Having crazy long hair can be a pain to style, especially when I have poker straight hair. I have been putting this new curling tool to the test and I think I might have finally been converted to wavy/curly hair! Remington is a brand that I always trust when it comes to hair tools and this hasn't been a dissapointment.

Shadow Switch Dry Brush Cleaner

When I am doing my eye make up one of my main struggles is dirty brushes. It is so annoying when you've used a dark shade of shadow on a brush and then go to use it light shade and you can't use the brush which is where this product comes in. I can't believe I didn't get my hands on this sooner as it is a makeup lifesaver!

Sleek Cleo's Kiss Highlighting Palette (+ Swatches)

I am obsessed with highlighters, like every other makeup obsessive at the moment, and Sleek are killing it with their highlighting palettes. As soon as I saw Jaclyn Hill talk about this palette on her Snapchat, I knew I had to have it in my life. I ended up going to two different Boots and Superdrug stores before I was able to track it down and I grabbed the last one!

Every Beauty Advent Calendar for 2016

I can't believe how many beauty advent calendars there are this year and I am sure I have missed a few! I have always wanted a beauty advent calendar and with so many different brands having their own this year, I think it will be the year that I get one!

Blank Canvas Master Series Palette One (+ Swatches)

Warm toned eyeshadows are my obsession right now, I just can't get enough! Blank Canvas Cosmetics is a brand that I had never tried before but since trying out this palette, I am kicking myself. I have had this palette for a couple of weeks now and it has already become a staple in my makeup collection.

Quick & Easy (Press On) French Manicures

I am a huge fan of press on nails, they are so quick and easy to do. Not to mention how affordable they are when you compare the prices to something you would have done in a salon, and sometimes even the designs aren't as good as what you can get on press ons. Kiss and imPRESS nails are two of the best brands from the high street when it comes to press on nails.

Budget Friendly Magnetic Palette from Freedom (+ A Peek Inside)

I have wanted to get a Z palette for the longest time but I just couldn't justify spending £15+ on an empty palette to then spend more money on filling it with blush plans or eyeshadows. I was browsing through thr Superdrug website and spotted this hidden gem! If you are wanting to buy a Z palette but not wanting to pay the price tag..you need to check out this one from Freedom!

Smashbox Light It Up Collection for Christmas 2016

I have never tried anything from Smashbox so I knew I wanted to get my hands on a Christmas set this year to see what all the fuss is about. I am in love with the packaging of this year, mainly because it comes in reusable pink containers which are great for storing makeup in my Alex drawers. I have already picked up one of these sets when I spotted it in store so I will post about that one individually soon.

Sleek Autumn VIP Lipsticks (+ Swatches)

I have a huge fan of the Sleek lipsticks as well as the Sheer Candy Lip Balms. The VIP Lipsticks are some of the best ones I have tried from the high street so I was super excited when three brand new shades for Autumn popped through my letterbox!

Yankee Candle Halloween 2016

I am not the biggest fan of Halloween, I am a huge lover of Christmas but I do always get excited about anything from Yankee Candle that is festive! I hadn't picked up any of the accessories for Halloween before from the brand and when I spotted this cute little ghost in store, I knew he had to come home with me.

Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Perfumes

If there was one product that I was lacking in my collection, it's perfumes. I used to be a huge fan of the Lacoste Touch of Pink fragrance and wore it for years when I was younger so I wanted to try out these three new ones from the brand. It's not often that when three fragrances are launched from a brand that I actually like all three, I am usually very fussy with my fragrances but I love all of three of these.

Sleek Goodnight Sweetheart Eyeshadow Palette (+ Swatches)

Sleek are absolutely killing it at the moment and I am loving so many of their products! This is one of the new limited edition eyeshadow palette launches from the brand, meet Goodnight Sweetheart. This is favourite palette out of the three new limited editions and I have already got so much wear out of it.
