This year, I have really discovered my love for KIKO. Before this year, I had only tried out their nail polishes but their makeup is where it's at. This new collection from KIKO had my name all over it and in true KIKO style, it has gorgeous yet simple packaging, KIKO always package their products so well in my opinion.
Swatched (Two shades to each product): Bronzer, Highlighter, Blush
All four of these products are from the new collection called Neo Noir which has been exclusively designed by Ross Lovegrove who designed the Summer Trend collection that I loved. All of the products, besides the brush, come in lovely matte black packaging and I love the detailing on the compacts, this makes them a little different than anything else I have in my collection. The four products which I have been most attracted to from this collection are the Bronzer, Blush and Highlighter as well as the perfect brush for your handbag.
The Creamy Bronzer in 02 Couture Sienna is made up of the perfect bronzer and a small insert of a pink shade to add delicate radiance once applied. This bronzer is in a powder formula but feels super soft and velvety to the touch and applies beautifully. This is a pretty pigmented bronzer so I would recommend a light hand and building up the bronze to your preference. I have particularly pale skin and find that this works wonders on warming up my skin tone and I find it works best to apply in a 'three' motion to the face. This is available in two shade options.
The Creamy Blush in 01 Alluring Rose is the perfect pink for my skin tone for everyday wear as it gives the cheeks a gorgeous hint of colour without clashing with my of my eye looks or lip product options. Just like the Bronzer, it is an incredibly soft powder blush made up of two different shades which can be used together or alone, I like to swirl my brush between the two. What I really like about this product is that it doesn't look powdery on the cheeks, neither does the Bronzer come to mention it. This blush is available in three different shade options for you to choose from.
The Highlighter from this collection is a product I have been using so much over the past couple of weeks. It has two gorgeous powders included in the smaller compact which can be used separately or together, I have been loving using the top shade as it is the lighter one out of the two and works well as a cheekbone highlight on my skin-tone. Like the bronzer and blush, it is very soft to the touch and applies beautifully with a brush. But what I really like about this product is that it doesn't have any shimmer in it, it adds a lightness to the face making you look like you have a natural glow.
All three of these powder products are enriched with petal extracts and to my surprise, all have a lovely scent to them - I love these little touches from KIKO. The Bronzer and the Blush have been lightly scented with Rose de Japon and the Highlighter has been lightly scented with Japenese Rose. All three of these products apply evenly to the selected areas and are pretty long lasting so I don't have to worry about reapplying throughout the day. The Retractable Kabuki Brush is available in two colour options, I have the purple, and it is one of the softest brushes I have and it is perfect for your handbag as it isn't going to get any product inside your bag due to the cap. It is perfect for applying powder on the go and touching up.
The KIKO Neo Noir Collection is limited edition so grab it will you can and it is available from the KIKO website - HERE.
