February 2016 Beauty Favourites

I cant believe February has gone so quickly! Its been a good month for me though, I had my birthday and I got to bring home Bailey and Buttons (my new bunnies)! This month I have all new products (for me) as favourites this month which I haven't had in a few months, a lot of my pervious favourites featured lots of rediscoveries!

February 2016 Degustabox

My favourite delivery of the month has arrived - Degustabox! Degustabox is a food subscription service and each month you receive a surprise box of 9-14 food products. I must say that this months box is incredible! It has to be one of my favourite Degustaboxes I have received in a few months and it has such a good value too.

Everyday Makeup Brushes

I organised all of my makeup brushes recently and noticed that most of them actually go unused during the week because I always do the exact same look so I always use the same brushes. I finally decided to split up my brushes into different holders so I didn't have to hunt for the ones that I use every day. These are the brushes that without fail I will use every single day, it may seem a little excessive to use this many brushes for everyday makeup but each of them has a use!

Partylite Spring Candle Accessories

Partylite is one of my favourite candle companies and the Spring accessories are absolutely lovely this year! As soon as the box arrived I knew it was going to lots of exciting and cute goodies. I have been using these for the last couple of weeks and I have been really enjoying them. If you are as obsessed with candles I am, you need to try Partylite! These would make great gifts for Mothers Day or Easter for any candle lover you might know.

Boots Beauty Haul

For my birthday I was gifted a couple of Boots vouchers and I just couldn't wait to use them up! I popped over to Boots and spent them in a few minutes - opps! There are still a couple of bits I didn't manage to pick up due to them being out of stock so I am sure there will be another Boots haul soon. All but one of the products I picked up had a saving on it too - I love a good deal! I also managed to get £7 worth of advantage card points because of the vouchers on the app so always make sure you check before you head into store.

Treaclemoon Those Lemonade Days

Whenever I want a bath, Treaclemoon is always my go to bubble bath! I have been a big fan of the brand for years and I love how easily accessible they are, I always pick up my products in my local Tesco. I have been such a big fan of the Coconut and Vanilla scents from Treaclemoon but I thought it was time to try a different scent.

MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty

I haven't had a MAC blush in years but when I spotted Danity on the Fragrance Direct website slightly discounted, I knew I had to get my hands on it. If I am ever going to splurge on some high end products, it is always going to be a lip, blush or foundation because I find them to last the longest and I feel like my money goes further!

Yankee Candle Tangerine and Vanilla Review

I popped to ASDA last week and spotted that there was a few new scents to the Yankee Candle Simply Home range and I knew I had to pick up Tangerine and Vanilla in the wax melt form. I have been so impressed by this wax melt and I need to go back to ASDA and pick up at least 5 more because it has become one of my favourite scents from Yankee Candle.

What I Got for My 22nd Birthday

On Thursday I turned 22, I still feel about 15! I always love reading what people got for their birthdays and for Christmas so I thought I would share what I was lucky enough to receive this year. My main present was my bunnies which I picked up at the end of January - who doesn't love an early birthday present!?

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Putty

Soap and Glory have just launched a bunch of new products for their makeup range and I was extremely excited to give the Archery Brow Putty Dip & Brush as try as soon as it arrived! I have always been a massive fan of the Soap and Glory makeup, especially the brow products. The only slight issue I had with the brow products I had tried in the past was that there was never a dark enough shade for my brows but it seems Soap and Glory have answered all my prayers and made a shade dark enough for me!

Top Five Barry M Nail Polishes

Barry M polishes are my all time favourites from the high street and one of the only few nail polish brands I will actually use. Although I am not a fan of the original Barry M nail polish formula, I have obsessed with the Mattes, Gelly and Speedy Quick Dry Range. These five shades my five go to shades when I want to paint my nails at the moment.

Meet Bailey and Buttons

It wasn't until a few days after I named my gorgeous baby bunnies..that I realised I accidentally named them after a pair of shoes (UGG Bailey Button) - opps! I thought I would post about my cute little fluff balls today seeing as it is my birthday and they were my early birthday present! They might be my favourite gift ever, thanks parents!

There are tonnes of new releases coming to the makeup range from Soap and Glory and the Highlight and Sculpt Cheek Sticks are going to be a great addition! I have always been a little scared of cream based products, I always thought they were difficult to apply but I was wrong about these. I know I am going to use these so much during the summer too!

February 2016 Birchbox UK

I haven't had a beauty box in so long, usually because I think they are too expensive for the samples included. When I saw that Birchbox had one of the LOC pencils and a spectrum brush, both of which I had been wanting to try for months, I knew I had to order the box! Even better that I found a 50% off discount code making the box around £6.50 - a total bargain!

Product of the Week #2 // MAC Prolong Wear Concealer

I have always had extremely dark under eyes and no concealer has never been able to cover them like the MAC Prolong Wear Concealer does. This concealer is my product of the week for this week and I have been absolutely loving the coverage it gives my skin. Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Glove

I have never been one of those people that despises washing their makeup brushes, it obviously it isn't one of my favourite things to do but I was so excited to try out the Sigma Spa Express Cleaning Glove when I won it recently in a giveaway. I haven't really tried anything like this to speed up the brush cleaning time but as soon as this came through my letterbox I started putting it to the test!

Valley Mill is based in Wales and I picked out the Chocolate Truffle Wax Melts to try - do they not sound incredibly delicious?!

Bedside Beauty Products

I like to keep a little stash of beauty products by my bed for when I am feeling a little too lazy to get out of bed and finish my skincare routine, to apply some moisturising products. These have been my go to products for a while now, if I don't leave them by my bed I always forget to use them and to be honest I am sometimes too lazy to get out of bed to hunt them down!

I have been waiting for these to launch in the UK and it is finally here! Body Fantasies are a very popular brand state side, being known for their body sprays. I have always been a big fan of body sprays and favour them over perfumes as they are much more affordable and handbag friendly! These remind me so much of the Victoria's Secret body sprays but better and much more affordable and accessible.

Tarte Energy Noir Palette + Swatches

When I won this in a giveaway recently I was super excited! I have been wanting to try more products from Tarte for a while now and this palette is a great way to try a few different products. This palette has sparked a serious love for Tarte and now I want to try everything, hopefully I will get my hands on one of the foundations soon!

La Roche Posay Effaclar K+

I have been on the quest for clear skin for the past year and I have been trying out so many different products and lifestyle changes to see what works for my skin. While I have managed to find the perfect combination of products to keep my acne clear, I still struggle with whiteheads and blackheads. I have had a big issue with these for years now. But never found a product especially to help get rid of them. The La Roche Posay Effaclar K+ has been a great addition to my skincare routine.

Top 5 High Street Products

I love so many products from the high street but I am finding myself favouring higher end products over some of my old favourites. These five products are the products that I will never replace and always have to be in my makeup bag. Three out of the five products featured are less than £5 which is fantastic, if I can find great products on a budget I am very happy - I love saving a few pennies where I can.

ghd Root Lift Spray

I have been trying out a couple of ghd products recently and I am yet to be disappointed. When I think of ghd as a brand I always think go styling tools not the hair care range but the products I have tried so far have been a massive success for my hair and I can't get enough! I have always had very flat hair because it is thick and long but the ghd Root Lift Spray has changed my hair game.

Acne Free Skincare Routine

It has honestly taken me years to get my skin as clear as it is today. But that doesn't mean that it is always clear, if I slack on my skincare routine or start eating more junk than usual, my skin will have a freak out. These are the products which always go back to and try to use as part of my daily and weekly skincare routine no matter what. Just because these products work wonderfully for me, doesn't always mean they will work for you but it is worth giving them a try!

YSL Volupté Tint-in-Oil vs W7 Tinted Kiss Lip Oil

I love finding a good dupe, who doesn't like finding higher end products on a budget?! W7 is a brand that creates a lot of dupes of higher end products and the Tinted Kiss Lip Oil is no different. I have had the YSL Volute Tint-in-Oil for almost a year and it is starting to come to an end so if I can find a dupe so I don't have to repurchase the YSL version at a much higher price that would be brilliant!

NEW Zoeva Makeup Brushes

Zoeva recently launched ten new brushes and I have picked five of my favourites to share with you. Although some of the brushes do look very similar, they are all different sizes and have different uses. Its no secret how much of a fan I am of Zoeva, not only are the brushes incredible quality but they also have a gorgeous rose gold collection, who doesn't want rose gold makeup brushes?

TV Shows to Binge Watch // Favourites

I feel like the only TV show people talk about is Pretty Little Liars and while I am a fan (sort of), I feel like there are much better TV shows out there! I was a huge PLL fan but so far this season I have not been surprised and found it a little boring, hopefully it will improve as the season goes on! I have been obsessed with these TV shows recently and I feel like nobody watches them and I need people to chat about them with! None of these shows are new, with the exception of one or two but are all binge worthy!
