For my birthday I was gifted a couple of Boots vouchers and I just couldn't wait to use them up! I popped over to Boots and spent them in a few minutes - opps! There are still a couple of bits I didn't manage to pick up due to them being out of stock so I am sure there will be another Boots haul soon. All but one of the products I picked up had a saving on it too - I love a good deal! I also managed to get £7 worth of advantage card points because of the vouchers on the app so always make sure you check before you head into store.
I seem to have picked up most of my products from Soap and Glory completely on accident! When I was looking at all of the new releases from Soap and Glory I knew I had to pick up the new Kick Ass Face Sticks I really regret not picking up the purple one, the other one currently available, I picked the All is Calm and Super-Blur ones. These retail for £8 each but they were on offer for £6 each. All is Calm is to counteract redness and Super-Blur is a imperfection blurring stick. I used Super-Blur on my hand and I am incredibly impressed, lets hope it does the same effect on my face! I love the Archery line from Soap and Glory so I picked up the 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush, usually £8 on offer for £6. I have never tried this but I love the other products from the Archery line so I cant wait to give this a go. The final product I picked up from Soap and Glory was Hand Maid to pop in my handbag.
Barry M had buy one get one half price so of course I had to pick up two products. The Speedy Quick Dry range is one of my all time favourites and when I spotted Supersonic I knew I had to have it, it is such a gorgeous and unique shade. The second product I picked up from Barry M was the Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit. Although I am not the biggest fan of contouring, I thought it would be worth giving it a try and seeing if it makes a difference. I picked up another nail polish, this time from Essie and in the shade Starry Starry Night. I still cant believe I managed to track down a bottle of this because I know it is incredibly popular had is pretty much sold out every where! I have it on my nails now it is stunning - I will post a picture on instagram soon! All Essie nail polishes had £2 off making them £5.99 each.
The final product I picked up was one of the ones I knew I wanted to try before I had even entered the shop. I picked up the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Max Lipstick in 002 Like a Virgin. I swatched this the week before but wanted to see how it would wear on my hand before purchasing and I was super impressed. It is definitely a unique product as it is a powder based lip product. Even though it is matte it has been very comfortable on the lips for the couple of times I had tried it so far. I will continue to use it and I will update you on it soon.
What have you picked up at Boots recently?
