January 2017 Favourites

And that's the first month of 2017 done and dusted! February is my birth month so I am always so excited when it rolls around. This past month, I have almost all completely new product favourites which I feel like hasn't happened in a while. In 2017, I really want to try out more makeup that I don't usually go for as I have done this, this past month and fallen in love with a few products already.

Zoeva Matte Eyeshadow Palette (+Swatches)

Last week, Zoeva launched a whole load of new products and this was included in that launch. I have always really like Zoevas makeup products and I do really like the eyeshadow palettes so I was so excited to try out this brand new one! I love having a good matte palette in my makeup bag as matte shades are a must in the crease so I wouldn't wait to try this out.

New In My Skincare Routine

My one resolution for 2017 is to take better care if my skin. I will admit that I can be very lazy with my skincare and this year I want to really take good care of my skin which is where these products come in. Two are brand new to me, the others are ones I abandoned in 2016 but I decided to give them another try and I am so happy that I did - my skin is seriously thanking me for using these.

Urban Beauty United Complexion Tool Kit

I love trying out new makeup brush brands as I usually stick to the same brands and I like to switch it up every now and again. UBU is a brand that I have always seen across social media and now only just trying them out for the first time and I must say, I am extremely impressed! If you are looking to get some new makeup brushes, definitely check out UBU.

Foreo Luna Play

This is a device I have wanted to try ever since it came out and I have been loving it and the results it gives my skin since it arrived. Foreo has made a range of facial cleansing devices which are on the more expensive side but the Luna Play is just £29 and a perfect way to try out these devices before investing.

NEW Products from Benecos

In 2016 I got the chance to try out a couple of Benecos products and I have become quite the fan! And recently Benecos launched a selection of new products for 2017 and I have been loving them so far. What I love about Benecos is that they are a natural beauty brand, which can be hard to find and the new lip balms are even vegan-friendly!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation

When it comes to foundations, I am very fussy and I usually find that budget brand foundations just don't work for me. However, this is one seriously hyped about foundation and when the lovely Kate had mentioned she had got it, I knew I had to give it a try so I quickly ordered it off eBay and started putting it to the test.

Bagsy Beauty First Impressions

Bagsy Beauty is a brand that I have wanted to try out for the longest time and 2017 is the finally the time! These four products have been a perfect introduction to the brand I have been really enjoying them. Not only are the products great quality but they also have some of the prettiest packaging on the market in my opinion.

Browcote Waterproof Brow Sealer

I am all about trying new brow products and one of the products I am always trying to find a good one of is brow gel. My brows are pretty terrible by themselves and once I have filled them in, I always need a good gel to keep them in place. The brow hairs that I do have can be a little unruly so a good brow gel is a must.

Five NEW Zoeva Brushes

I have been a huge fan of Zoeva and their brushes are some of my favourites and I use them all the time. Zoeva have launched five new brushes today and I have been really enjoying them in the past week or so that I have been using them! Makeup brushes are always worth investing in and Zoeva are such a great brand, I really can't fault them.

Maybelline Baby Lips Valentine's Day Balms

I can remember when the Baby Lips first came out in America and I went on a hunt to track them down, I remember actually shipping them over from the States as I had wanted them so badly! Fast forward a couple of years and I seemed to not have a single one in my collection so I thought it was time for a restock!

Beauty Wishlist #46

I am on a huge makeup kick at the moment, for a while I didn't really find much that excited me but now I have a super long wishlist! A couple of these are because of Olivia Jade on YouTube, I found her videos recently and she is so gorgeous and I need to try some of her favourites. And finally the Too Faced Sweet Peach collection is out in the UK - its about time!!

Contouring Made Easy

It's safe to say that I am rubbish at contouring, I just never seemed to be able to get it right so I gave up! But when this arrived I thought I would give it a try to see how I got on with it and I have actually been really enjoying it and for once I am finally getting the hang of contouring - only a few years too late! Both of these products are from Superdrug so they are pretty affordable options too.

Crown Brush 35 Colour Rose Gold Palette

I have had Crown Brush products on my wishlist for the longest time, I am so happy to finally be trying out products out! I didn't actually know that Crown Brush did eyeshadow palettes but I have been so impressed with this palette and I wish I didn't overlook it. Not only do Crown Brush do eyeshadow palettes but they also have other makeup products too.

NEW Maybelline Baby Lips Crayons (+ Swatches)

I have been seeing so many good releases on the high street that I wanted to start trying out more budget makeup products. Maybelline is my favourite brand from the high street and in my teens was all my makeup was! I am a big fan of the Baby Lips Lip Balms so as soon as I spotted these Crayons I knew I wanted to try them out.

Handbag Hand Sanitisers

One product I always have in my handbag is hand sanitizer, working in a school I know I always need to keep my hands clean to make sure I don't get poorly. I have been on the hunt for good hand gels that won't dry out my hands as I have quite dry hands already. These are my top three picks and I have one in each of my handbags so I always have one on hand.

Rose Scented Beauty Products

One scent that I have never really try is Rose, I don't know why to be honest but I had always been slightly put off. However, I have been loving all things rose recently and these four products are floral scented heaven. If you love a good rose scented beauty product, you will want to give this a try.

Favourite Brow Products

I will be the first to admit, I have the worst brows ever. It doesn't matter what I have done to try and grow them, I have tried so many different serums and nothing has been life changing as far as my brows are concerned which is where all of these products come in. These are the best products I have tried so far to transform my brows and I always love the results I achieve with these products.

My Everyday Base

I haven't done an updated everyday base routine in a while and now that I have found the perfect combination of products for a flawless base - I knew I had to share! 2017 is the year of quality over quantity. So I have decided to invest in better quality products rather than multiples and I have found for me personally that I prefer higher end base products usually because the colour range is much better and I can always find a match for my paler skin tone.

Formula X Polishes & Treatments Review

I managed to pick up all four of these Formula X products for a total of £4.50 in TK Maxx just after Christmas and I wish I picked up more as I have been so impressed. I definitely understand the huge hype around these products and I wish they were easier to get hold of in the UK as I would love more nail polish shades.

Skin Republic Brightening Eye Mask

I love trying out new masks, especially eye masks as I need all the help I can get with my under eyes! Skin Republic masks have never disappointed me so I couldn't wait to start trying out the brand new Brightening Eye Mask. These are the perfect pampering treat, I love using these on a Sunday to get the eye's looking good for the week ahead.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick & Skin Frost

Now, I know a lot of people don't like Jeffree Star but I personally like his videos and I got so excited when his cosmetics range popped up on Beauty Bay that I ordered a liquid lipstick (even though I don't actually really like this type of product). For Christmas, my Mum let me order one of the Skin Frosts as I had been wanting one for months and it has seriously upped my highlighting game!

Real Techniques Your Picks Set

I hadn't had any new makeup brushes from Real Techniques in a while and I couldn't pass up this set when I spotted it in the sale for just £10. Real Techniques are one of the best makeup brush brands on the high street and I have never had too many problems and have always found the brushes to be of good quality. The main reason I wanted to pick up this set was for the Buffing Brush as I used to love it for foundation application but mine had broke.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash

The much loved Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has a new friend, meet the Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash. As soon as I spotted this in Boots, I grabbed it and knew I wanted to give it a try immediately as I love the cleansing water. This is that new that I can't find it online just yet but do check your Boots stores as it was on an end display and it was only around £2 as it was on offer for a third off I think.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Review

I have tried so many different liquid liners in my time and I think I have finally found my holy grail! Every time I wear makeup, almost every day apart from on Sunday's mainly, I wear winged liner and I have really put this one to the test. From the first time that I used this I knew instantly that I was going to love it and I was right!

REN Evercalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask

I have never tried any products from REN but I am a quest for better skin and I have been putting this to the test or a little over a month now. This is a brand new product from REN which launched yesterday and it is specifically for sensitive skin to help calm, soothe and restore while moisturising the skin.

Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler

This is one seriously hyped about hair styling tool and one of the main reasons I wanted to try it out was because Zoella has been rocking hair styled with something similar to this and she always looks great. I really can't fault Lee Stafford products, I have always been a big fan and it's no surprise that I do really like this tool as well!

January Sales Haul

I never usually do much sale shopping in the Boxing Day/January Sales as I can never find many good deals. However this year, I managed so find quite a few bargains that I just had to order! Everything I brought this year were things I had had my eye on so it was the perfect opportunity so get a great deal!

Rimmel Magnifi'eyes Eyeshadow Palette (+ Swatches)

I don't often try much from the high street these days but this really did catch my attention! I am always on the look out for new eyeshadow palettes and this one really reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked Three which is one of my all time favourite palettes.

Argan 5 Lip Balms Review

I am a lip balm feen, I have one within arms reach at all times because there is nothing more that I hate than dry lips. My lips to tend to be very dry at this time of year so I am always looking for lip balms which provide long-lasting results, not just comfort while on the lips. I hadn't tried anything from Argan 5 before and these were a great introduction!

2016 Beauty Favourites

Hello 2017, I hope you are much better than 2016! Can you believe it's 2017 already? I am so sad that Christmas has been and gone for another year! I spent a couple of days picking out all of my favourites from 2016 and these are the products which I genuinely couldn't be without and are must haves in my makeup collection.
