L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation

When it comes to foundations, I am very fussy and I usually find that budget brand foundations just don't work for me. However, this is one seriously hyped about foundation and when the lovely Kate had mentioned she had got it, I knew I had to give it a try so I quickly ordered it off eBay and started putting it to the test.

When it comes to foundations, I usually only go for medium to full coverage with a matte finish but I thought I would give the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow a try after hearing nothing but good things, I have also ordered the US version of the Pro Matte foundation which I will have a review up of soon. This foundation is available in 12 shades, I decided on the second lightest which is a great colour match for my skin tone. This foundation has a radiant/glowy finish while being hydrating for normal and dry skin times. It also has an SPF 15 included and claims to have 24 hour wear.

When I was looking at swatches I decided on 202 Creamy Natural which is the second lightest shade available as it looked more neutral toned than the first shade but this shade does have a very slight grey tone to it but it is a perfect match for me, for reference I am Vanilla in the Too Faced Born This Way and an NC15. I have found this foundation to be very hydrating on the skin which is perfect for the winter months, if you have very oily skin I would probably stay away from this or use a very good primer and setting spray to keep it locked in place. One of the main things I usually hate about budget foundations is how they feel on the skin, I usually find them to feel heavy or just being able to feel it on the skin throughout the day which I really don't like. But, this foundation is a very lightweight on the skin and I can never feel it throughout the day on the skin.

While my skin is better than it has been in a few months, I do still have quite a bit of discolouration and spots and this has pretty impressive coverage! I found it easy to cover any redness or spots, I would say that this definitely has a medium coverage but it is buildable if you need the extra coverage. I love the finish that this has on the skin, it makes my skin look like it has a glow from within and while it does have a glow to it, it doesn't look dewy on the skin which I am a huge fan of! I have been using a damp beauty blender to apply this and I love how easy it is to apply and blend, I only use a small amount but it does go a far away and never looks cakey on the skin.

I usually find that foundation doesn't hold up for more than a few hours on my chin, which is my most problematic area, but this foundation is so long lasting! It can hold up for around 10+ hours on my skin and never cakes up throughout the day and it doesn't settle into my pores or my smile lines. I have been really struggling with foundations settling into my smile lines recently and this is the only foundation so far that doesn't do this. I do find some days that my T-Zone will need a little powder touch up towards the end of the day but that's it!

While this foundation isn't actually out in the UK yet, I managed to find it on eBay for around £13 which I didn't think was too bad, it has free delivery too! If you want to pick up this foundation from eBay, I recommend this seller - I also purchased the Pro Matte from this seller also.
