January 2017 Favourites

And that's the first month of 2017 done and dusted! February is my birth month so I am always so excited when it rolls around. This past month, I have almost all completely new product favourites which I feel like hasn't happened in a while. In 2017, I really want to try out more makeup that I don't usually go for as I have done this, this past month and fallen in love with a few products already.

My first favourite this month is the Iconic London The Stroke of Midnight Shimmer Palette, I have previously reviewed this over on ReallyRee's site with a selection of other products from Iconic London and I am such a fan of this palette in particular! I had totally forgotten about it until I was going through my makeup collection a few weeks ago and decided to pull this out again and I have been in love with it! I have been really liking mixing the two shades on the left and applying them as a cheekbone highlighter, I really like the sheen and glow that it gives to the skin. Another glowy related product I have been obsessed with this the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation which I picked up from eBay towards the beginning of the month. I am not usually a fan of foundations like this but it has such a great coverage and I love the effect that it gives to the skin, it doesn't make you look like a disco ball but it makes you look like you have a glow from within. It is very long lasting on the skin as well.

While I have been obsessed with the Kat Von D Lock It Concealer, I decided to start using my Too Faced Born This Way Concealer under the eyes again and have been loving it - I can't remember why I stopped using it. While it doesn't have as good coverage as the KVD, it does really help brighten the under eye with a medium coverage for dark circles. For Christmas, I got a new tube of the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara and I completely forgot how much I love this stuff! It adds so much length to the lashes and never makes them look clumpy. I have been pairing this with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and I love the results I can achieve when I use both of these together. My next favourite is the Maybelline Baby Lips Crayons, I was so impressed with how good these are and they are such a bargain at under £6 each! These are very hydrating on the lips from the oils included but they are so pigmented and provide bold colour on the lips, I know I will use these a tonne in the summer too.

Zoeva recently launched five new brushes which I was luckily enough to be able to try out before they launched and I fell in love with the 135 Petit Face Definer. This brush is super soft like all brushes from Zoeva and I have been loving using this to apply loose powder under the eyes. It does such a great job and due to the tapered shape, it fits under the eyes perfectly. My next favourite is the Formula X Strengthen Treatment, it has made such a big difference to my nails! My nails have never felt stronger and are now the longest that they have been in years. My second to last favourite from January is the Bath and Body Works Cocktail Dress Shower Gel. I bought this off one of the lovely ladies on the Bath and Body Works Fans UK facebook page for around £5 and I have been so impressed with it. It wasn't a scent I would have thought to be a huge fan of but I really like it and it lingers on the skin too. My final favourite is the Foreo Luna Play. I have been using this almost every morning and it really makes the skin feel refreshed and super clean. I have been really liking using it with a creamy cleanser like Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean.
