March Beauty Favourites 2016

Goodbye March, you were a stressful month! Besides having to have my bunnies spayed, I spent days being so worried about them, its been a good month. This month all of the products which have become my favourites are products that are brand new to me and almost all were found during this month. One of the products is a stand out beauty product and I now *need* every single shade! One thing that isn't beauty related but I loved in March was The Big Bang Theory! I cant believe I never watched it before but I have now seen every episode that has aired, if you haven't seen it go binge watch on Netflix!

InLight Organic Skincare

I love trying out new skincare brands so when InLight got in touch, I knew I wanted to give the products a try especially as they are a UK based company. InLight is an organic skincare brand and all of the products contain the finest and most effective organic food-grade and cold pressed oils as well as herbs and the purest essential oils and beeswax and that it - no junk! I have been testing out two of their products over the past couple of weeks and I have been really enjoying using them.

Threads False Lashes & Brow Pencil

Threads is a brand that I have heard quite a lot about in the beauty world recently and I was excited to finally try out two of their products. Threads have a range of eyelashes, brow products as well as hair colour and eyeliners available. I have previously spotted some of the Threads Lashes on the Harvey Nicolas website!

Handbag Beauty Essentials

I have never liked carrying around a big handbag but I like to have the essentials with me at all times. I don't carry a wallet, only a small card holder which means more room for beauty products! Last year I treated myself to the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel East/West Cross Body Bag and I haven't used a different bag since! Even though it is a small bag, I can fit so much in it and I have been thinking about getting the lilac version for Spring/Summer.

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Masque

If there is one skincare brand that has never disappointed me, its La Roche Posay. Until recently I hadn't tried anything from the Hydraphase line but as my skin has been extremely dry recently the Intense Masque couldn't have been purchased at a better time! Whats even better is that I managed to pick up this full size tube for just £4 in Boots as it was in the clearance section - who doesn't love a good deal?!

Totally Tarty Licious Wax Melts

For my birthday my Mum got me two of the Totally Tarty Licious Wax Melts which I had never heard of before but I am very impressed! Totally Tarty Licious is a homemade tart company based in Suffolk, UK. The fragrances are their favourite US and UK fragrances from bakery to fruity scents, there are so many to try! Totally Tarty Licious Wax Melts

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Super-Blur Stick

When I found out about all of the new products Soap and Glory were launching, I was beyond excited! Soap and Glory is by far one of my favourite brands from Boots and their make up range is incredible. I have been obsessed with the brows and lip products recently, but when I saw the new Kick Ass Sticks..I knew I had to get them asap! The one I was most excited was the Super-Blur and it has definitely lived up to my expectations and beyond.

Elegant Touch Don't Be Sheepish Nails

I love false nails mainly because my nails are in terrible condition and I am rubbish at nail art. Elegant Touch is my favourite brand for false nails, I often find them on offer and they have some of the nicest designs too. I also find that Elegant Touch nails are the only ones that fit my nails perfectly as I have odd nail shapes so thank you Elegant Touch!

Astral Face & Body Moisturisers

I had always known of Astral as a brand but until recently, I wasn't aware of their products in too much detail until I started seeing them talked about a lot on social media. I have seen a lot of people have been using the Original Astral Face and Body Moisturiser as a primer too so it can do so many things than just moisturising the skin.

Everyday Lip Combo

I have so many lip products its actually a problem but not necessarily a bad one! I have been trying to make an effort to use different products and not stick to the same glosses very day. I must admit that I do love a high end lip purchase but I always get so scared to use them up because I know I will end up falling in love with them and want to repurchase them over and over. I have been using these two products most days recently and I love the combo!

Lancôme Juicy Shakers | #BanTheBoring

I used to be obsessed with the Lancôme Juicy Tubes when I was younger, I remember having lots of the shades and feeling super cool at school using it and would compare shades with my friends to see who had which! When I first heard about the Juicy Shakers, I knew I was going to want to try them immediately, I have discovered that the only type of lip product I really like to wear is a lip oil!

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer

It's not often that I find a concealer from the high street that I really like. Besides the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, I hadn't found a good under eye concealer that is available in Boots and Superdrug for years..Until I found the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer. I had heard the hype about this concealer but thought it wasn't worth it until I tried it! It did take me a few trips to different Boots stores to track it down, it was out of stock every where but I am so happy I finally found it!

Yankee Candle Easter Votive Gift Set

There is nothing I love more than bunnies and Yankee Candle so Easter is one of my favourite holidays for the gift sets! I recently blogged about the other gift set available from Yankee Candle for Easter this year which is the wax melt egg, you can read about that here - LINK. All three of the scents included are very sweet based so if you aren't into those type of scents you might want to stay away from this. However I am a huge fan of sweet scents and anything vanilla based!

Milk_Shake Travel Size Hair Products

I love trying out new hair products, especially when they are travel size. As that way you can find out if you really like the products before you invest in them full sizes. My hair can be a nightmare to keep under control and since I have been using the Milk_Shake hair products, my hair has never looked and feft better!

Product of the Week #3: Soap and Glory Archery Pencil

I have been loving the Archery range from Soap and Glory recently, the Brow Putty is one of my new favourite products! But I had never tried the Pencil & Brush from the Archery line so when I spotted it on offer in the Boots a few weeks ago I knew I had to pick it up and I haven't looked back! Once a month myself and Sarah share our product of the week so make sure you go and read about hers...its one of my all time favourite products too.

Top Five Under £5

I must admit that recently I have found myself reaching for higher end options and forgetting about the hidden gems which are a total bargain! My bank balance can't take much more of my expensive purchases so I have been looking more and more at high street products. There are some incredible products on the high street which are better than a few products I have tried from the beauty counters.

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum

I am yet to be disappointed by any product I have tried from La Roche Posay. The Effaclar line saved my skin from breakouts /acne and changed it for the better. But I had never tired anything from the Hyrdraphase line until recently when I started using the Intense Serum in my evening skincare routine and I have been noticing a big improvement in my skin.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Make-up Removing Wipes

I know face wipes get a lot of hate in the beauty world and while I don't use them regularly, I do think it is fine to use them every once in a while when you are just too tired to get out of bed and remove your makeup or in case of an emergency! Bioderma have launched the Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution Makeup Removing Wipes exclusively at Escentual!

L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist

Quite a few high street brands have been launching setting sprays and fixing mists and I am so happy to see that they are finally affordable! I am such a big fan of the Urban Decay Setting Spray but paying £22 for it puts me off repurchasing it, I would much rather buy a new foundation or lipstick! I had seen very mixed things about the L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist but I still wanted to try it and see how it compared to come of the high end options.

Partylite Berry Blossom GloLite Candle

The GloLite Base from Partylite is one of my favourite candle accessories and the GloLite Candles look incredible on the base in the evenings. They really glow and the colour changes, I love how it looks in my living room and everyone always asks about it. Partylite candles are incredible and very underrated, if you haven't tried Partylite Candles..you need to add Berry Blossom to your to try list.

50 Lifestyle Blog Post Ideas

While I mainly talk about beauty, I do like to try and include some lifestyle posts here and there. I have talked about my favourite TV shows, food subscription boxes and talk about candles all the time! I think its nice to switch up my content sometimes because while I do love beauty, its great to talk about some different topics! I do struggle to come up with lifestyle blog post ideas so I know others might too, here at 50 ideas to help you get started!

Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Hair Care

My hair often drives me crazy because I can't seem to find a good range of products that will tame my hair. I have stupidly long hair and while I love having long hair, it is such a pain to keep it looking nice! Lee Stafford is one of my all time favourite brands for my hair, I have been using the heat tools for years. When I had a bad experience with the hairdressers who decided to cut my hair to my jawline, I swore by the Hair Growth range and it made my hair grow so much quicker! I had been hearing such good things about the CoCo LoCo range so I couldn't wait to try it for my self.

Yankee Candle Easter 2016 Wax Melt Egg

When I saw the Easter collection from Yankee Candle, I knew I had to have everything! I was very lucky to receive the scents that I had my eyes on for my Birthday. I am gutted that they aren't permanent at Yankee Candle because one scent in particular from this gift set is one of my all time favourite scents already!

KIKO Campus Idol All Stars Face Palette

This is one of the first makeup items I have tried from KIKO. I have only ever used a couple of their nail polishes perviously and I can't believe it has taken me this long to try out the makeup products! A short while ago KIKO launched the Campus Idol collection and the All Stars Face Palette was one of the products included and it is available in two different shades.

7th Heaven Masks

Recently I have been loving having a Lush bath and a face mask. You can never go wrong with the 7th Heaven (formally known as Montagne Jeunesse) Face Masks. They even offer foot masks which I think is brilliant because everybody forgets to take care of their feet. These are incredibly budget friendly too so they aren't going to break the bank if you picked up a few!

Roger and Gallet Body Balm

I almost never used to moisturise my body (I know its bad!) because I could never find a good moisturiser that would hydrate the skin and not make the skin feel greasy or leave any residue on the skin. I am a very big fan of the Fleur de Figuier scent so I was so happy to get the body balm in one of my favourite all time scents. If this scent isn't your thing then it is also available in Rose and Fleur d'osmanthus.

Lush Haul

I never get to go to Lush because there isn't one local to me so when I get to go, I make sure I pick up enough for at least one bath a week for a month or so! I also got a tonne of Lush stuff for my birthday so I think I am pretty much set on Lush baths now for the next 6 months or so. I wanted to pick to pick up some of the new bath products as well as some of the original line which I hadn't tried before!

New Soap and Glory Lip Products

Soap and Glory lip products are up there with some of my all time favourites so when I saw new shades and products launched I knew I had to get my hands on them! I actually spent every day for a week checking the stock on the Boots website to see which stores had one of the products in so that I could include it in this post!
