May 2017 Beauty Favourites

How nice has the weather been this month? I have kind of enjoyed it, I am much more of a Winter person really! This past month I have been loving so many products and I few I have been really obsessed with for a while now but I hadn't mentioned them at all or for a few months so I thought I would do a little update on those too!

Wella Professionals Fusion Hair Care Collection

I am a hair care junkie! I have extremely long hair that I cut and colour myself but it is quite damaged towards the ends of my hair from the amount of heat styling I do it on it almost daily. This range sounded like something my hair was in need of so I couldn't wait to start putting it to the test.

Christian BRETON Lifting & Firming Masks

I am a sheet mask junkie and I hadn't tried anything from Christain BRETON and these were the perfect introduction! Both of these were made in Korea and I am obsessed with their skincare products so I did have high hopes for these and they didn't disappoint me in the slightest!

Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct For Her

Justy like I mentioned in my Hollister Wave 2 review, I have always loved the smell of Abercrombie and Hollister stores and this perfume is completely different than I have ever worn before and I have been really enjoying it. I have worn the same scent families for years so I am pretty excited to be switching it up with this gorgeous fragrance.

I love Spring when it comes to my nails, I am all about pastel shades at the moment as well as some fun designs! These are some of my top recommendations and favourites at the moment and I think I have a few different bases covered from pretty pastels to come fun peach glittery stick-on nails.

Nanshy is one of my favourite affordable brush brands and they recently launched the Concealer 3D brush which I was so excited to try! I had been wearing so many good things about 3D makeup brushes so I couldn't wait to try it for myself, I can never have enough makeup brushes!

Hollister Wave 2 For Her Fragrance

When I was a teenager, I was obsessed with Hollister and I still shop in their occasionally now as I have an outlet store close to me! Besides the clothes, I have always loved the fragrances from the store. I was never without a body spray so I love that they now have perfumes stocked at Superdrug! The Wave 2 fragrance is the newest launch from Hollister and it hasn't disappointed!

Nip+Fab Highlighting Palette Review (+ Swatches)

As soon as Nip+Fab launched their new makeup range, I knew I had to try something! And of course, the first product I went for was their gorgeous highlighting palette. I am a huge highlighter lover, I have a drawer full but I had to make room for this pretty palette! I have always liked Nip+Fab skincare products so I was excited to try out their makeup, especially with everyone raving about the range. They had a great offer on a Superdrug too so when I ordered this, I also got a liquid lipstick (that my sister has stolen), lip liner and mascara to try as well for free in a cute little makeup bag.

Elegant Touch Express Nails

Elegant Touch are my absolute favourite false nail brand, I have been wearing and using their products for years now. These are the brand new Express nails for Spring/Summer 2017 and are available in some really gorgeous colours and designs. I love how quick and easily these are to apply and be out the door, I am going to stash a set away for my holiday at the end of July!

Soap and Glory Spritz Me Quick Hydrating Moisture Mist

If you have been following my blog for a while, you will know how much I love Soap and Glory, I think they are probably my favourite high street brand! This product couldn't have arrived at a better time as my skin has been so recently and it does such a great job at hydrating the skin and of course, it smells incredible!

Tropic Mineral Sun Protection

While I am obsessed with SPF, I had never actually tried any mineral SPFs and it wasn't until recently that I actually learnt the difference. Tropic is still a fairly new brand to me as I have only just started trying out their products in the last few months but I do really like these SPFs so far and I know I will get so much use out of them in the next few months as well.

Skinny Tan Express Mousse & Dual Tanning Mitt

Being as pale as I am and refusing to get any sun damaged skin, fake tan is my best friend! I have tried so many different fake tans recently and this one I'd definitely worth the investment. It is one of the more expensive ones I have tried but it has the best formulation and has been the most long lasting, I haven't found a thing I don't like about this product!

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I have been obsessed with this product for years now and I am loving the revamped packaging! Setting sprays can make such a huge difference to the way your makeup sits on the skin as well as long it lasts and no matter how many setting sprays I have tried, nothing compares to this wonder product from Urban Decay!

New Products from Essence

Essence are one of my favourite budget brands and whenever I am in Wilko I always check out their stand! These are a few of the newer launches from the brand and I have fallen head over heels in love with one of them, I need back-ups immediately!

Summer & Holiday Beauty Essentials

While I wouldn't believe by looking out of the window right now that it was almost summer, it's time to stock up on all things sun protection and hydrating products. With the sun shining much more than it has done this year, I need to start using fake tan regularly again or people will go blind when the light reflects off my super pale skin!

ASOS Exclusive Beauty

ASOS not only have a brilliant selection of clothes and accessories, I could easily spend a fortune but they also have so many beauty products on the site with so many exclusives. These three products are just a great example of the brands stocked at ASOS and I have found some new loves and I now have a super long wishlist of products I want to buy!

Tarte Maneater Palette Review (+ Swatches)

I have been on a huge Tarte kick in the last month or so and ordered far too many products, this palette being one of them. I have fallen absolutely in love with this palette and use it pretty much every day at the moment, I completely understand the hype around Tarte shadows now and want to get another palette soon!

Philosophy Skincare

I have wanted to try Philosophy skincare for years and these three products have absolutely saved my skin recently so I wish I had tried the brand much sooner! I have always had quite problematic skin with having acne and an oily T-Zone paired with occasional dry patches so I am often needing to switch up my skincare routine.

Soap and Glory The Rushower Dry Shampoo

I have never been really been a fan of dry shampoo until recently, I talked about three I liked in a post recently but this one just knocked them all out of the park! Soap and Glory haven't created a product I don't like so far and this is no different. If you are looking for a new and affordable dry shampoo to try, you definitely need to check this one out!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

This is one seriously hyped about product, and I finally decided I had to see what all the fuss was about! I have to say, I don't think I have ever been so impressed with a product as I have been with this concealer, it is really worth all of the hype it gets and I do hear Tarte will be bringing out a Shape Tape Foundation soon so I have my fingers crossed!

Yardley Royal Pink Diamond Fragrance

I like to switch my scents up on a daily basis and this one from Yardley has been a great new addition to my collection. I had never tried any of the scents, or any products really, from the brand and this has really impressed me as I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It has become one of my everyday go-to scents and I love the bottle too.

Self Tanning with Sunkissed

With Summer quickly approaching, I want to get some colour back into my skin without getting any sun damage which is where fake tan comes in. Sunkissed are a brand that I have always seen on the shelves but had never tried anything from them until recently and I have been really liking these two fake tans!

I have never been subscribed to a beauty box for more than a six months as I often find them to be a bit boring or full of sachet packets. IT Cosmetics is a brand I had wanted to try for about a year and a few months ago, QVC had a TSV that I just couldn't pass up on. There are two absolute stand-out products that I don't think I could ever be without now that I have tried them and are so worth the hype that they get!

Zoeva Basic Moment Collection (+ Swatches)

Zoeva are bringing out some incredible collections at the moment and I have been loving them all! A little while ago they launched the gorgeous Sweet Glamour collection, packed full of pastel shades fit for any unicorn lover and the Basic Moment collection consists of two palettes everybody needs in their makeup collection.

Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Heat Protection Spray

I am obsessed with Lee Stafford hair products and this range is one of my favourites from the brand - it smells delicious! A must have hair care product for me is heat protection as I use heat tools on my hair daily and I already have damaged hair so I like to use these types of products to prevent any further damage.

High Coverage Foundations for Every Budget

I own so many foundations, more than I am willing to admit, but these are the best ones I have tried for high coverage, if not full in many cases. As I have acne prone skin, one of the biggest things that comes with it, apart from a lot of texture, is redness and discolouration. I would much rather prefer to spend a little more on a good foundation with incredible coverage than have to apply a tonne of concealer over top of a rubbish foundation as it can lead to the skin looking cakey and feeling heavy.

KIKO Tropical Heat Capsule Collection

I am obsessed with KIKO products and this collection just screams Summer and these are three products definitely worth checking out from the collection. They do also have some of other products int his collection which I am going to be picking up soon, I think this collection is limited edition so I would act quickly if anything catches your eye.

Merci Handy Handbag Essentials

I always have a hand gel of some sort in my handbag as whenever I am out and about I like to keep my hands as clean as possible. And with the warm weather slowly coming up, it's the perfect time to add a Face Mist to my handbag to refresh throughout the day which is where Merci Handy comes in. I had only tried one product from the brand previously but I have been really enjoying these!

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Lip Quench Rescue Trio

I have been wanting to try these lip products for months but when I went to order them a little while ago, they were back ordered. But they were finally in stock a few weeks ago and on four easy pay so it was meant to be! Lip products are my obsession, I just can't get enough.

What I Bought Last Month #4

I think...I may have bought some makeup last month. Remember in my march haul when I said I wasn't going to buy any makeup? What a fail that was! I have been seriously spendy this last month and I am officially on a 30-day spending ban after buying so many Tarte products and more!
