New Products from Essence

Essence are one of my favourite budget brands and whenever I am in Wilko I always check out their stand! These are a few of the newer launches from the brand and I have fallen head over heels in love with one of them, I need back-ups immediately!

I have finally grown my nails out enough to be able to paint them again so I was excited to try out two Essence nail polishes as I had never tried any! The Colour Boost Nail Polish is available in a  few difference shades and I have the 11 Instant Match, a stunning blue shade. It has the recommended retail price of £1.80 and only needs one coat - I was so impressed! I am sometimes quite lazy when it comes to painting my nails so the fact I only need one coat is amazing and they are super pigmented. It dries fairly quickly and has a smooth finish.

The other nail polish is from the Out of Space Stories line and is in the shade 01 Outta Space is the Place. This is a stunning baby pink shade with a holographic, iridescent finish and prismatic effect. I was expecting this to be on the sheerer side from my experience with brands with a similar shade but it only needs two coats for full pigmentation. I have fallen in love with this shade and I need to get my hands on the others! I can't stop staring at my nails whenever I use this and is a bargain as it has the recommended retail price of £2.

I love lip glosses and I could never quite get on board with matte lip trend completely and some of the lip glosses from Essence are always in my handbag. The Shine Shine Shine Lipgloss in 12 Runaway Your Way is a perfect shade for Autumn as it is a purple/plum shade but I have been wearing it a lot in the last week or so! They have so many shades of these and I have fallen in love with the formula so I am definitely going to pick up a few more! These retail for £2 and incredibly smooth on the lips and super pigmented! It smells amazing too and I love how glossy it is on the lips.

I wear winged eyeliner every single day and I have been using a pen eyeliner for a while but The Cushion Eyeliner is my new obsession. I used to use gel eyeliners all of the time as I loved how easily they were to create the perfect wing but this one one step better. As the sponge has been soaked with a highly pigmented liquid eyeliner, it puts the perfect amount onto the brush making it so much easier to apply. I can get the sharpest wing whenever I use this and it is one of the blackest eyeliners I have ever used. It is also very long lasting, I have applied this at 5 am and it doesn't fade at all throughout the day.

The final new product I have been trying is the Volume Stylist 18hr Lash Extension Mascara. This mascara has been designed to give the lashes longer and fuller length and has lengthening fibres within the mascara. I love Essence mascaras, they are all around £3 or less and you just can't beat them for the price! This mascara adds so much length to my lashes and doesn't flake off at all throughout the day, I do like to sometimes pair it with a thickening mascara as well!
